I can see the point in not having the home and away strips the same colour, but red and black????

Black and gold maybe, black and white maybe, gold maybe, but please not * red.

Has there been anything official about the away shirt, has the price of the Bumblebee dropped?

Mind we have only had it one season and the yellow one before only was for a season, 3rd in 3 years is taking the * if they do......

ack mate, that top has been about for ages, it has been made for use in Football Manager, using a template called LS 09'

Not really man, I mean we have had some nice lime\apple coloured kits in the past, just think it will be too plain...

 

No-one would buy a red & black top. I think the powers that be are too sensible to allow a top with red on it. Besides, our away kits are always pretty different from the home. Bumblebees, dark green, gold etc. I don't see what's wrong with just having green. The only team we're going to play who also play in green is Hibs, and we'll just wear our third kit against them. Personally, I always liked the kit combination we had in O'Neills last year, with the dark green away kit and black 3rd kit.

In now way could I imagine our away kit to be red and black.

 

We will have some sort of deal with nike that we have an allowance of how many kits we have over several seasons.

If you think about it this will only be our 4th home kit in 6 seasons with nike and I think we only had the Lisbon kit for a season because you can only celebrate it for a season.

We've had 8 away/3rd kits in 6 seasons, so looks like we keep our home kit for 2 seasons and have at least one new change kit. Whatever was the previous seasons away kit moves onto the 3rd i.e bumblebee being our 3rd kit for next season.

I work for a sportswear manufacturer so I know a bit about how the contracts work, although every club & manufcaturer are different.
