Celtic Tennents New Kit 2010/2011 season

Yeah hopefully there's no sponsorless shirt just for now and that they'll eventually add one later.

 

There has been far more of a backlash against the joint sponsorship deal this time around, possibly because we were being solely linked with the likes of Emirates and Samsung, possibly because Rangers are so * financially that getting into bed with them on a money making venture seemed ludacris.

Due to this backlash and a lot of fans, myself included, commenting on sites like this that they'd be buying the new top sponsorless I think it has been decided that we will not be given the choice to publicly show our displeasure at the short sighted measures taken by the club.

I'll be wearing last seasons sponserless top next season. No way am I buying that top if I have to have that tennents pish on it.

 

its exactly the same design as the man utd home kit.

 

I really like how the United one says "believe" on the underside of the badge, hope ours has something like that.

 

would want a different one though like ' Hail Hail ' something specific to celtic

New kit actually looks alot better in the video link posted than it does in the pics on the celtic superstore.

I think the new Tennents sponsor logo isn't actually that bad, but looks badly out of line when printed between two hoops, rather than on one. So for that reason i'll be waiting to try get this Jersey without the sponsor.....

If and when a new * size Jersey becomes available, can somebody post a link? Also where can I get an * Size Sponsorless version of the last Nike/Carling jersey?

 

Must say i really like the new strip. At 1st i wasn't sure but i must admit i do really like it.

 

I like the new shirt. Don't see a problem with Tennents. We lived with Carling for years, at least this is a Scottish beer. As for the red T on the shorts. Not a huge fan of it, but it's better than having the Tennents in red on the shirt like the old People's kit from years back.

Much prefer the black to the yellow, but would rather it just be green and white with no third colour.

 

Right, i'm not an expert on art but i don't know what is more minging: a can of tennants, the tennants sponsor or our new strips. I only kinda-like the goalie top and that's it. The rest look like they were chosen by Ray Charles and the home top seems to hark back to one of the the CR Smith era tops. What a mess. I don't know what is wrong with Celtic hiring some of the guys that designed Celtic kits and other fantasy kits through photoshop. Some of the stuff they produce is excellent and forward thinking. I think a guy posted some of his kits somewhere on talkceltic and it was quite nice. Touches of yellow on the home kit instead of black.

I hope to * that green away that someone posted back is official, it's probably the best away top I've ever seen, even more so than my beloved (original) bumblebee.

Also what's wrong with a collar? Just wear it up Cantona-style :icon_mrgreen: anyone calls you a ned you kung-fu them.

 

That goalkeeper top looks like it was designed for this lady to wear.

i never usally buy the hoops cos they are all similar, i like the away shirts.

i think the one we had there was best for a while tho
