i'd imagine it was contractual. Sounds like it may have been a compromise so they didn't need to have a red T on the chest

 

Not sure about the patterns in the hoops, it seems a bit random to throw in some diamonds

 

They could have put it smaller, not the size of the badge

its a sponsor, needs to be noticeable, i'd have put it on the back personally or above the nike tic.

 

I've never been a fan of buying the top without the sponsor, I think it looked better because it was exactly what the players were wearing. But the Tennant's looks *, it's far too high up on the top. I would have preferred all the black trim to be gold, and no random diamond pattern through the hoops.

Has anyone else noticed that the diamond pattern isn't symmetrical?

To be honest last seasons kit with Tennant's looking half decent and a collar would have been great I think.

For me to buy the whole kit with numbers on the back it's £87
