And yet the semi will be an absolute sell out, the first in a long time.

That in itself tells a story.

One of the biggest threads on here is the hun thread, same on KDS, probably the same on other Celtic sites.

The fact is they are still a big draw, we still work with the *, we still see and talk to them at family gatherings, we still wind them up at every opportunity.

Some clown came into my workspace to tell me that Sparta went 3-1 up tonight, I just said Hearts, Alloa, Hibs to him and he slinked off again. :smiley-laughing002:

Whether we like it or not every single site on Celtic cyberspace still has a huge thread dedicated to them and for us to get offended by an advert is daft.

If it sends my workmates into a rage then I'm all for it.

They seen that article and laughed and your first thought was to come on here and tell us how they were laughing at that, and rather than tell them how wrong they were and laugh your * * off at their stupidity, you agreed with them that it was stupid that an article said that they were a new club. I was going by the first draft as we all are.

 

The only ones I see talking about this being embarrassing is the bourgeoisie of KDS, the same people who think smoke bombs and flares are going to kill our support.

I've spoken to both Celtic and Sevco fans in work, neither of them know what the * I'm talking about.

Sure an advert in a mainstream publication outlining why Rangers are dead is a "*' riddy"

More concerned whether the Hun is laughing at you and what they think of you than anything else.

Aye, I find that embarassing. It's just validating that they have something to do with us. They're dead, an irrelevance, a footnote in history. They've got a wee phoenix club on the go which is giving all the fans of the old club a wee bit of hope and giving them the run around and that's quite amusing but they're irrelevant.

We shouldn't be validating it like we have a genuine rivalry with their club. The fans? Aye, because they're all Hun * but we all hate Linfield and we're not exactly sporting rivals are we.

Are you personally associated with this advert? Why is it an embarrassment to you if not?

You can chuck in these dismissive adjectives all you want my friend, but when your opening gambit in this debate is how your being laughed at by a bunch of * morons i say that says more about you, as a Celtic fan than it does about the guys who have posted, or NOT posted this Ad.
This Ad is for clarification. The press, media and internet * stains will have us believe we are footballing rivals.
They are trying to set the record straight. I fail to see the embarrassment in that.
It's more of a riddy seeing our OWN fans want this piece of * club back playing us regularly and slevvering over tickets.

If they really thought they were a new club? What? It's obvious they do, hence the need to point it out to everycunt as they keep peddling the myth that the Old Firm rivalry resumes in February.
And the fact we will have a sell out for this speaks more about that point than their words in a newspaper ever will - Celtic fans believe this myth too.

says a lot that you have to pay to have the truth printed in todays papers, on that day it may well be the only bit of truth in the whole paper. I think that's were they are coming from. lets see if sevco have the guts to have it taken to court, if they are the same club then fight it

 

Should have known Sean dealer was behind this embarrassing 3,000 pound article.

 

People embarrassed by what a few people they dont even know on social media and pie and bovril say are as embarrassing as the advert to be fair.

It is a bit of a riddy but at least it reminds the SFA there are people still concerned by this and we aren't willing to let it be brushed under the carpet the way they want it to. It also comes in response to the SFA stating they were the same club and highlighting things that journos dont want to ask.

I guess its a bit cringey but no more so than people getting in a rage cos some guy on pie and bovril is laughing at him.
