The green brigade have been absolutely Quaility in bringing atmosphere back to paradise fantastic , well done bhoys and ghirls

 

Fortunate enough to sit next to the GB whenever I get to the games, was in attendance yesterday and yet again provided s great atmosphere. Also noticed the new ant-sectarian unit were present observing (also at the same time being a potential safety hazard by obstructing a fire exit).

Just shows you how out of touch the scottish government are while the match was in progress we have an orange walk on the go.

Anyway well done to the GB for the atmosphere and contribution to a greater match experience.

But IRA isn't sectarian so it is just them, OK maybe we still shouldn't sing it or sneak IRA symbols in but it is political not sectarian, don't fall for the hun media/huns' lies. For the record, I love the GB.

 

Can I ask why the GB banner was upside down in the first place? Always been curious to know.

 

They dislike John Reid, the banner will go back to normal when he leaves.

 

I dont like seeing fat burds with their bellys hanging out on a Saturday night, but it still happens and thats their choice. People need to man up at CP, to busy applying alcohol hand rub to support their team, the GB put in a huge amount of effort into their displays. Granted I think some of their songs are pish and dont enjoy their continental approach, but Im glad they are there

 

I would say so. The sunburst is an ancient Celtic symbol, the flag of the Fianna. Just as there was a disturbingly concerted attempt by the British government in Wales to eradicate the native culture, so there was a similar attempt in occupied Ireland. Symbols like these became touchstones in the fight to defend that time-honoured heritage.

Are we therefore, in the modern day, to self-censor these same ancient symbols, for the sake of not offending those who tried to destroy the culture which produced them? To try and meet attempted cultural genocide halfway?

He always seems to have his back to the game.

 

Wish they'd stop the 'Hate the * Rangers' songs. It's cringeworthy and obviously we hate them fs.

 

Cringeworthy? I't might just be me but I have never seen singing that to be cringeworthy. Although I don't think it should be sung any other time than playing the manky mob. And hate to see it sung in Europe.

 

I'm sure I know this already but can someone remind me why the gb have their banner upside down??

Probably the wrong word to use. There's just no need to be singing about hating the Huns all the time, sing Celtic songs, let them be obsessed with us.
