Couldnt really see the banner from where I was sitting but the GB were immense. Didnt stop signing brought a great atmosphere to the game! No songs that could get us into bother. Huge police presence around them all game though, no doubt waiting to get them papped out at a moments notice. I think I saw one guy getting escorted out.

But why put us in the position to bring on critisism? They have used this symbol deliberatly but as you say their reply will be 'what? its a new dawn'. About time all this rubbish stopped, we don't need the IRA links to the club in this day and age. They could have quite easily have used a full rising sun and not just the corner

They, like my self, are very proud of the Irish struggle for independence. Can't understand people wanting us to rid ourselves of our Irish identity.

Spot on mate, exactly what alot of people would love to happen, they'd love if we were just an ordinary football club. But we most definitely are not.:50:

That's fine, be proud of it all you want, i'm the same. Our Irish roots are not to be questioned, but those roots don't include suport of the IRA. Keep that view for your own household and not within Celtic Park.

and yet if they just looked down london road they would have seen the most obvious and overt display of sectarianism, with the sole purpose to antagonize and offend: but no they'd rather make sure the naughty GB don't let off flares or such like

as for the huns; ffs, they find anything irish offensive never mind a famous sunburst image that is older than any irish republican organization; no chance anything will come of it and rightly so

Continuing to provide the atmosphere that breathes life into Celtic Park, we seen that when we were really struggling for atmosphere during Mowbray's reign. Under-appreciated at times.

Hope they keep up the great work.

    Well done to the GB.

IMO Celtic Park is the perfect place to celebrate these people. We wear green, and are surrounded by Irish symbolism. Those who sing songs like BOTOB, ROH etc, are remembering and appreciating the struggle of their Irish ancestors for freedom. If not for them, many of us may not be here.

Great display and atmosphere today, well done lads. Does anyone know why the section has been moved slightly to the right as you look up from the pitch. The core section is in the same area with some more folk to the right in 112, but it looks to me as if where 111 joins onto 110 at the left of the section the last 5 or 6 seats before the aisle had normal fans sitting in them. Last season I am sure it went all the way to the aisle. The only reason I can think is to help prevent overcrowding and when they do the dreaded "lateral movement" to we love you. Less room for movement and spilling into the aisles perhaps?

The GB are doing a great job especially yesterday keeping the add-ons away :50:

I think that they should put the new songs out there so the other supporters can join in :icon_mrgreen:

We should have a thread for song lyrics & links for downloads for these songs

I would like them so my son can learn them for when he's at the games
