    Just wanted to say well done to the Green Brigade ( and other fans who joined in ) for the atmosphere on Thursday night . I was stuck with listening to the radio coverage , and their contribution came over really well .:50:

    nothing to do with celtic fans.

    it was the bad blue boys from zagreb they came without tickets and were held for 6 hours some had smoke bombs with them.

    Why not? Zagreb didn´t sell out their allocation. Did we refuse to sell to the group. I don´t think that was right what happened to them.

    Bad Blue Boys Are boycotting buying home and away tickets supplied by the club as they are banned from games.

    the Owner Mamic wants them gone this has been a problem for the BBB for years when they attend games over the top police being told they can't get in.

    BBB are boycotting buying home and away tickets supplied by their club.

    No idea if Celtic refused to sell to Zagreb fans on the day. Though there were a few from Zagreb who had tickets for the home ends that were checked by the police and refused entry. That said there were many that did get in ok also and there was no signs of any trouble.

    I don't think there was any need for their group to be kettled either and even if the aim was to deny them entry it's ridiculous that they were handled like that in one spot for 5-6 hours with no access to toilets, food or drink.

    I passed by the Tennents brewery the other night in the car, and there was about a dozen police fans plus another half dozen police cars. Police everywhere.

    Overkill doesn't quite cover it. You'd think there had been a terrorist attack.

    I agree. Everyone in the know said in advance they weren't looking for trouble, this wasn't even Ajax (wannabe hardmen acting macho), let alone Legia (thugs actually looking for trouble). There was no reason to kettle them like that for hours.

    They would have taken their lead from Zagreb police. When Dinamo played in Romania, bus and car loads of BBB didn't even make it to the city they were playing in, they got stopped and held in a village outside until the game was over. The same will happen to them in Salzburg.

    It's testament to how good we were that we haven't been talking about the fantastic away support today.

    A good old fashioned reb fest with a few Henrik Larsson songs for good measure.

    I remember hearing Irish Soldier Laddie, Bring Them Home, BOTOB, Fields, A Soldiers Song, Aidan MacAnespie and The Loansome Boatman.

    The alcohol consumed on the long coach trip north helps I'm sure. :smiley-laughing002:

    Couldn´t get a good enough wifi signal to stream on my laptop. I was able to use one of the
    hostel´s computers but that meant no sound.

    I was going to head there was working in Montrose and Dingwall is 3 and a half hours from there

    * that headed home instead would love a wee trip up there but need a train
