Great to see the GB back, predictable though when you think that we're not in the CL and the stadium would be dead all season without them.

Hope we get a good crowd for Aberdeen at the weekend.

    From GB website....................................

    To confirm -

SECTION V ABERDEEN NOW WON'T BE HAPPENING

It's disappointing but we wouldn't have been able to get a block of 300 season books sorted in time. What it does mean is that for Motherwell the week later, the group will 100% be back in block 111 with season books. This gives us 2 weeks from now to get everyone signed up, to position everyone in the section which we have full control over, and start off again at Motherwell with a bang rather than half heartedly.

We were all dying to go to Aberdeen, but this is nothing in the grand scheme of things, let's us get our section back and re establish ourselves better.

As said in this thread, we will be leafleting in the morning, and a section meeting for those who were in last year and those who want to be in this year is now critical. If you can make it, come.

In the mean time, anyone who hasn't done anything about getting a new book or relocating, PM Relocation man on here, stating your full name, DOB, address, client code and phone number and lets get the section back to what it was in the start.

Fair enough. It's clearly not that easy to organise all this kind of thing or the Indy Bhoys wouldn't have failed so completely in their attempts to create an atmosphere in the GB's absence (fair play to them for trying, though).

Delighted to see they'll be back but it should never have come to this, feel really sorry for the main guys in the GB they must feel pretty unappreciated!

You're right. I'm lying to a stranger on the internet about ending up in a different row, celebrating.

    Jesus.

I think it depends where you're sitting. I must admit I've never experienced anything like ending up in a different row in the modern CP but always used to choose to sit in upper JS or upper LL and have never been to a CL or Rangers game. Nevertheless you can actually see some sort of surge on the telly in certain parts of the stadium after a goal in a big CL or Rangers game. The one that springs to mind is in that corner after the Donati goal against Shakhtar Donetsk.

I've ended up in different rows a good few times, mostly Old Firm matches. There was Wanyama's goal against Hearts as well though, ended up about five down :56:

Happened many times to me. Basically either last minute winners/ Euro nights/ Zombie games.

Been up the upper tier, front row at times. Remember a fan falling off the JS upper in 97 against Zombies, but im genuinely surprised it hasn't happened more often. Small barrier, simple surge forward and with wind.

Nearly broke my leg that night, can't mind if it was the goal or the penalty save but ended up jumping about like a madman with my leg trapped in the seat two rows in front of my seat. Woke up in the morning and about 3/4 of the outside of my leg was black.

I was at that game. It was played on a Sunday and most of the fans were *. Our bus got into Glasgow at 9am and we drank from then until the match started. Actually we had already started drinking on the boat over.

Only 2 games I mind ending up out my row were Sutton's lob against the huns and the Forrest goal against Karagandy.

It was May 1999. Game was played on a Sunday at 18:05, was a bank holiday Monday the next day. Mental scheduling that you'd never get now.
