I hope I'm not stepping on toes, breaking Forum Rules, posting something that's been covered recently, or just generally talking p*sh.

I can't get to games nowadays for health reasons so the pleasure I derive from the work the Green Brigade does is immense: whether we win, lose, or draw.

The Hampden display cost around 1000 quid I believe, but that probably doesn't take in to consideration the time and effort of these guys and I'll bet they pay their own costs like transport etc, just to make enjoying the event a bit better for the majority of Celtic fans.

Add to that the fact that they give up their free time, especially on Friday, to set up the display, when most people would be out on the town, speaks volumes to me of their committment on our behalf.

Personally, I know how to donate funds to them, but I would love to see it more widely publicised. It only seems fair to help in some small way with their costs for everything they give to us: the Celtic Support.

I know they raise funds in other ways but I'm sure every little helps.

(I contacted Asda Motherwell to see if the Green Brigade Ultras could help in the bag-packing department, for some strange reason they turned me down.)

Maybe there could be a Sticky relating to how to help? I haven't put in a link to donating in case I get a kicking or whatever.

I missed the GB's drum on Saturday, but I thought that the support answered the call and got stuck in.

Absolutely shocking that they couldn't stand together, though.

They are an absolute credit to Celtic Football Club. If their section had not been renewed next season, it would have been a disgrace.

Kudos to them, they are a bunch of dedicated lads :shamrock:

The club itself should see about giving them a little bit of financial backing,

They seemed quiet on Saturday. Why couldn't they stand together?

I'm guessing that because of the ruck at the Semi, Celtic were instructed not to sell them seats together.

    It's just a guess..I don't agree with it.

It was the GB's own decision not to take up a section on Saturday.

They didn't want the inevitable hassle which would come from Strathclyde's finest, just like the hassle which took place at the semi final.

Maybe it was an attempt to get more of the crowd involved?

Manure? I thought the display at our end was great on Saturday actually, although I do agree that the GB are capable of making superior ones, as shown in the past.

Manure = Man Utd. Their EPL Champions 19 times display is what he was referring to.

The person that talked about the club funded tifos was saying he preffered the GB one to the one Man U had on Sunday which was club founded.
