Well actually we've known about the minutes slience for about 3 - 4 months so i'm pretty sure thats before the tickets are chosen for ipox and the GB are pretty much used as a warning to Celtic fans to behave or else they will be banned and that's a poor way to operate but they have to get a message across and i know it's for the deaths of innocent supporters but a lot more innocent people died in the World Wars aswell and that was disrespected so there are a few idiots among our fans

This bans are plainly scaremongering tactics from the board. All of sudden standing is illegal & they know on normal matchdays they are the main ones who stand which = further division in support. Their mission is divide and conquer. Threatening to close the stadium affects all the punters and therefore the board hope this will make everyone resent the GB.

It's quite pathetic tactics when you look at it. Even if you are a board apologist, you should support your fellow supporter. Even if you can't stand the GB, just remember that you have more in common with them than those muppets who run our club.:50:

the reason the gb had the banner was because they didn't want a poppy that remembered british soldiers in iraq, afghanistan ireland.

in their eyes these are no innocent people.

and they didn't even ruin the silence anyway, as someones just posted they werent at the game. but you'll still be able to blame them :50:

Never heard anything about that, sure you're not thinking about st mirren this year ? Because they pretty much did get the blame for falkirk and then refused to go to st mirren and it was silent so there will have been assumptions made (true or not) that the GB have some kind of input and they are the only ones the board can ban because they are the only ones that can be identified

My point was more that they got the club into * for a pointless banner because it's not like poppies are going to stop being used, and stop making me out to be some kind of hun, i've had a season ticket for years, my point was that the GB are easy casualties for any moves that the board make to prevent something they don't want happening at a game. Also yes i know that they disagree with Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan, so do i, but it looked like (along with the minutes silence last year) that they were disrespecting those that fought in the world wars and that makes the club look bad, because we all know what the media are like

Ah, well apologies then, just the amount of support they gave it made me think they were there and the media blamed them but they talk bullshit anyway, and is everyone forgetting that i said this was from the board's point of view ? because our board gets way too much * and i noticed when Arsenal were interested in Lawwell everyone changed their tune so even though it is * that the GB are not going to the old firm, there will still be a good atmosphere because all of the mute fans sing when its against them lot

how am imaking you look like a hun?. i don't think yer a hun?

how did it look like they were disrespecting people who fought in the world wars, the banner specifically says, Iraq afghanistan and ireland?:56: so how does it look like people in all wars?

just asked my mate, the gb were not at the falkirk game. so it wasn't them, but you're quick enough to blame them. and you obviously think they would have ruined the silence.

the GB will still be there and they will be as good as they normaly are. Since when have they done what they are told to do. i have just bought a half season ticket in area 109, the GB are 111. They will be a big part of the experience to me. its a complete joke that celtic are trying to take the atmosphere away from celtic park.

Now, what really is starting to get on my nerves is this clown who is supposed to be in charge of security (ronnie hawthorn)at our club. He has been dealing with the police. He is part of the reason fans are turning away. There is also a major department relations issue at the club.

I don't agree with everything the green brigade have done, most notably the poppy banner, but they are playing a huge part in keeping the fan base we have at present and are also making the Celtics PR team job a lot easier as fans now want to come "back" because of the atmosphere they are generating. I sometimes find myself for periods of the game watching them than the crap that is put in front of us on the park.

Now this guy has the * audicity to wage a personel vendetta against a fraction of our fans! Who the he'll does he think he is?
The final straw for me cwhen's few weeks ago when he came across the tanoy telling the fans it's an all seater stadium and it's an offence to stand up!

Do Celtic realise how much damage this guy is doing to our club? I'm all for health and safety, but this guy is taking the *.

He has now drew a huge amount of attention apon the club and there may be no turning back.

No flags, No drums, No standing, your no getting in away ballots, stop singing they songs...

    What next??

The board need to get this guy to sit down with a member of the csc and the gb and the police and sort this out amicably and safely for the sake of EVERY FAN and the Future of our club.

    he's a *, he's * everyone up,

what's the problem with a drum and flags?, they're just being * and they're trying to drive the gb out of parkhead.
