the gb haven't claimed to be bigger than the club, or any other fan, people are just making out as if they've said this.

    Aye ok mate.....

Please explain your unfounded statement of my "insecurities"?

As mentioned...go back and you will find posts by members of GB claiming to better supporters !

Where did I say they were dominant? Again you are putting two and two together and getting *! My statement was that every supporter is an equal supporter..not one group is greater...or do you disagree pal?

the green brigade have not said this though?

the reason people on here may have said this is because the green brigade attend every game (as do others) they bring displays, which they put a lot of time and effort into, aswell as money.

thye are no bigger than other fans, but they have done more than others.

you edited your post, your original one didn't say you have not once said the gb have said this, but looking back, it says it now,

    fair enough:50:

but don't let the people who support the GB, (as you can see i am one) make you think that the GB have said this.

    What's that supposed to mean?

It's a scientifical fact that human beings give off an aura....

You have already changed your mind from the GB dont think this....to some of them do.......so if some of them do..then who's to say that a majority of them don't?

Singing players names, banners for the team, displays is technically better support than sitting down being quiet or just plain and simply moaning at players whenever getting the chance, I'm no saying fans are better than other fans nothing like that, but in regards to the word "support" then aye certain fans are better at supporting the team than others..

the green brigades statement on being excluded from the ballot for ipox

<TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=2 width="100%" height="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>As you may be aware, Celtic have excluded our members and other fans in our section from the ballot for Ibrox and Berwick, and suspended our away registration scheme memberships. They have also banned flagpoles and our previously allowed drums from the stadium. At first fans who did not receive offer letters for Ibrox were told they had been unsuccessful in the ballot but since then Peter Lawwell has acknowledged to representatives of other fan organisations that our away memberships have been suspended because our section stands at matches at Celtic Park.

We have had a growing presence in 111 since the group was formed in 2006 and have always stood, and this season we organised a section of 400 fans and we have stood and supported the team without incident or injury. From our first discussions with the club about an organised section we informed them that we would continue to stand and were told that the Club would continue to ‘turn a blind eye’ to it. This was unsurprising considering our away support stands at every away ground we play at, and 7500 huns stand for the duration of derby matches twice a season at Celtic Park. It appears the Club are no longer willing to turn this blind eye and are reneging on their agreement with us. There are suspicions that the standing issue is merely a cover for the Club to make attacks on us after our anti-poppy banners last month.

In any case, the removal of drums and flagpoles is an unnecessary punishment that will only have a negative impact on the atmosphere and matchday experience at Celtic Park, and fair access to away tickets is and should be a right for all season ticket holders, regardless of whether their face fits with the plc, or their politics are shared by the chairman. We are currently considering our options and will keep other fans in the section, and the wider support as informed of any future developments as we can.

Throughout the past six weeks or so we have come under attack from the Club and the media and we have received fantastic backing from the wider Celtic support – from other supporters in our section to individual fans, supporters clubs, fan organisations and Celtic media – and would like to thank you for your support, and look forward to your continued backing over the coming weeks and months. <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

You stated the gb give a arua there better supporters. Hence insecurity.

All fans are equal no set of supporters are dominant over others - words to that effect. No one claimed to be dominant. Hence the use of the word dominant.

Attack the post not the poster. But its understandable another week without football.

so the green brigade have been excluded from the ballot and their away game reigistration has been cancelled,

because they've been standing at games!

what a joke, considering the club were told when the section was being discussed, that they would continue in standing.

    * the board.
