Just read of the BBC website, its the huddle "which has risked falling foul of the requirements for the club's stadium safety certificate."

Are they being serious? surely every section in the stadium should be closed then, if that is in fact the case.

As far as I'm aware the GB are under the impression the area is closed. Confused.

Exactly, mate. I can see that you get this point. I'm glad, becaue a surprising number of people don't:50:

Well again we agree. I also think lateral movement is a silly rule and that the real problem is overcrowding and fireworks; but note that the club have taken the tools to control this away from the GB this year. It's difficult now for the GB to do anything about it. Given everything that was revealed last year, it's obvious that, as others have said, this is part of a campaign to get the politics and rebel songs out of CP by attacking the GB. I wish there were sone way for you to se that.

Surely not. Its not just Celtic that do this. Other clubs partake in this.

Bullshit from the board looking for an excuse. I mean I know these guys are corporate suits but I thought they were different and understood what Celtic was about and were willing to shove the middle finger up to the establishment.

I'm scared to think what the atmosphere will be like.

I think they mean when they do the huddle 'with lateral movement', which the rest of the stadium doesn't do.

Would be good to see full stadium lateral movement in the next game.

"The Green Brigade are also known for a display during matches where most of the section of fans turns its back on the pitch and celebrates by jumping up and down in a huddled gesture, which has risked falling foul of the requirements for the club's stadium safety certificate"

Every section does the huddle on occasions, surely they have to close the whole stadium now?

Is the Ethiad getting closed aswell because Man City have their own version of this?

Celtic have closed a section of their stadium for safety reasons after repeated warnings to fans to remain seated during matches were ignored

I was in Anfield on Sat for Gerrards testimonial and the back 20/25 rows of the Kop never sat down one, Is the Kop going to be closed aswell?

    Modern Football is a joke!
