Spot on, and it's reaching worrying extremes. Give any group of people that kind of power and control and at some point it will start to be abused. At some point there will come a tipping point and we really will live in a police state. I don't think it's that far off and I find the prospect far more frightening than any terror attack. What makes me think it's a lost cause is just how fantastically well this whole line of argument that we need all this to protect our safety has worked with most people in this country. Of course they will have known that before they trotted it out as it's hardly without historical precedent :54:.

A statement from the so called 122 ultras

The group has taken into account the safety aspects of a second group at Celtic Park. We have agreed with the club that we are another safety risk and decided that our idea that we brought forward to the club of another group had come at the wrong time. We refuse to divulge the details of the reasons but we will say it is a safety issue that has postponed the activity of the group for at least another season which the club said they would be happy to revisit the idea at a later date which can only mean the group has more time to set the group up.
We are not finishing we are simply holding off to a later date.
The group will not be in attendance during next season and anyone who planned on joining and has renewed their ticket, we apologise for any inconvenience.
    Thanks,
    Section 122

They were never going to work, not enough snidey posh arseholes go to Celtic games and even less of them get involved in singing so there was no chance of them getting decent numbers together. Postponed until next season my * haha

If they wanted a singing group themselves why not try join the GB and maybe relocate? Maybe behind the goals at the JS stand? (purely selfish reasons of course on my part as I sit in 123)
Oh and while they're at it....get the standing section on the go:icon_mrgreen:

Im not sure if the GB want anymore members mate

I really like the idea of a group at the other end of the stadium from the GB, they could get some good banter with songs back & forth

This 122 was a certainty to fall flat on its *, their group & forum were a laughing stock straight away (with the statements & * they were coming out with)

Their parents probably wouldn't let them get season tickets.

    Pathetic.

Even if they don't want other members....nothing wrong having numerous groups in the same section imo. 2 or 3 singing groups in the one area? Wouldn't cause any trouble now would it?

I think a massive area behind the goal, full of colour, singing, and just generally good craic would be amazing to see.

I do like the idea of a standing section behind the goal, which should be the Jock Stein stand IMO( i sit in the north stand incase anybody asks)

I do still think 2 groups at either end of the stadium would feed off each other brilliantly

I know mate just doing as the club tells them LOL

They said they were not put out there by the club to try & replace the GB, ay right.

Whats the difference in having normal fans in that section, than them?

    Safety reasons (i can't stop laughing) :56: :56: :56: :56:

It's not that the green brigade don't want new members, these things just take time. There's lads in the group who had to work there * off with things like setting up tifo attending meeting, getting to know other members. Takes a lot of time.

Due to the fact section 111 only hold 300 members it's hard for people who are like minded to get involved more.

So ,four groups in total with long range pie throwing capability?
Sounds like a safety issue to me.
