I prefer "I wish I could be like Tony Watt" to the tune of David Watts by The Kinks.

 

I find it strange that some players get sung about constantly but others hardly get a song mccourt, wanyama, mulgrew, stokes get loads but hooper, kayal, mathews etc get nothing most of the time.

Hope "come on you bhoys in green" gets a good airing on wednesday. Sounds amazing with a full house. Also the celtic song and fields......

 

I heard a little bit of the * sevco did today all I can say is ........ * Bless the GB.

I dont always agree with some of their views but * they are good at the basics

 

Suppose its just difficult to keep coming up with songs for players. Not every player has a name which can be put into song easily.

 

Hooper has his own song, kayal is mentioned in the armalite tune song.

 

Yeah but it only gets sung for a few seconds when he scores. Paddy gets two even if he's not playing and hasnt done anything

 

my uncle sings that when hes playing never knew what he was talking about till I listend to the song on youtube there lol

 

To anyone who was at the game, what was the sentiment behind the tifo tonight? Sky showed it for about a second but I couldn't make it any of the words, I think I saw the Glasgow skyline as part of it though?

 

It had a Helsinki Skyline, Helsingborgs Skyline and a London one. And one other which I couldnt see

 

I seen on celtic football transfer rumours, a green brigade member went on and wrote its everything irish on display at the match tonight.

Glasgow, Helsinki, Helsingborg, London Skylines. Followed by the we're on the one road and a moving bus. Clearly meant to show a Glasgow club were on the one road in the CL hopefully ending up in London for the final.

The whole idea I thought was brilliant. The bus for me was inspiring because in 67 thousands went over to Lisbon via camper van bus's. Whether that was the GB's intention behind it I don't know. Like i say imaginative and impressive.
