He does deserve 100% of our support. Pity that 90% of the fans who go to games prefer tutting to singing.

He is popular with all fans but until he actually came out and said sorry I don't think their is anything to back your point up?

Honestly if i was manager of celtic and the fans helped me through all those difficult times and a section of support created that sort of atmosphere I would have done the same thing.

Maybe it was his way of apologising but to be honest It hasn't ever crossed my mind?

What I was saying was if the GB turned their back in lennon then i'm sure he'll not really care as their are 50 thousand other fans that have his backing at every other game and he has been through alot more un his life than a section of fans taking a disliking to him which has been ' forgiven but not forgot'.

I'm in no way arguing with you but you look as if you are pushing with one? Some people just do not like stone wall facts.

 

The GB seem to think they are elite fans. They should just support and stick to being vocal in support of everything Celtic rather than trying to be some sort of influence

Totally agree. Great on the atmosphere front (when they turn up...) but don't agree with everything else. Seems to me that they think they are better than everyone else.

 

To be fair, I think they're better than everycunt else in the stadium.

 

I agree. I dread to think what Celtic Park would be like without them.

They bring the spirit of the Jungle to our largely soulless Arena and I applaud them for that.

I detect a touch of jealousy from some folk to be honest.

But on topic, GB are class. Aye we might not all agree with some of their views but I just love seeing them singing away, although wish there was more Celtic songs. Songs like Discoland is it? and Zombie Nation. Not bad at times, but can get irritating after 5 minutes. Thankfully I take more notice of the football being played than the "wrong doings" of the GB.

Yeah they're great at generating atmosphere, however I wish they'd leave the politics out.

They do not speak for the rest of the fans and should not try and do so.

 

I can't remember the last time they staged a political protest to be honest?

When was it? What was it?

 

did we ever find out the names of the * that dobbed us in to UEFA, about the banner, it wouldn't have been some sun reporter would it, then again maybe the record where first. we should have demanded to know.

 

And more importantly; how did this protest suggest they spoke for other fans?

 

Have to say, imo, they are better than other fans. I don't care for some of their politics but I'd rather they were ramming that down my throat than them sitting silent like the other 85% of Parkhead.

 

How many times do I need to say this. They don't claim to represent all of the Celtic fans. They are their own entity. They won't be dictated to by anyone else what they should be able to do and what not to do.
