I think we should play Discoland in full before every game, just before the Celtic song comes on for the team coming out. I was disappointed at the weekend when they played about 15 seconds of it then stopped it.

Don't be silly, they'll sing that they want within what the club feel is acceptable.

    Bullshit.

They wouldn't be an ultra group if that were true.

I'm not going to get into a big discussion about it which someone got me into bother for last night.

But if you think for a minute the board will let us sing what could be deemed as unacceptable to others outside of celtic they'll quickly nip it in the bud.

Are rebels songs likened by the board? No.

Let's just agree that some Celtic fans have issues with the Green Brigade and most others worship the ground they walk on.

Have you got any proof of this or is it just speculation?

Because it's nonsense. If you think for one minute that the Celtic board which up until recently counted the former Secretary of State for Defence, and Northern Ireland as one of it's members wants anything to do with the IRA (in any form) or the Republican struggle whatsoever then you are an idiot.

Do you think the board pre screened the banner in Udine, or the one about the Poppy?

They sing what they want to sing, and I applaud them for that.

No, lets not 'just agree' - explain what you said.

Think it would be better to say that posters have different opinions on things, Which makes good reading.

It depends in all honesty? I enjoy rebels (not at games) but as soon as you sing about murder as if it is a good thing ( not us but the huns) you will either be punished or have your manager/club statement saying that it is unacceptable.

So the vast majority of rebels will probably been seen as OK by the board but if we sang something like 'Go on home british soldiers go on home' tell me that would not cause chaos? Maybe not within our own club but definitely from a higher source resulting in the board taking action before being punished.

I'm sure the board didn't want the anti poppy banner but the GB did it regardless because that was what the GB and the majority of Celtic fans felt about the issue. The board didn't have a * choice in that matter.

Completely and utterly pointless debating with someone with your point of view. Besides I already covered this last night, just attempt reading the previous pages and maybe then you'll get the picture, okay son? :50:

If you find it hard debating with another ,don't debate with them - simples.:50:

I still disagree, and don't see how the board could 'nip it in the bud'? Do you really think John Reid wanted to see things about bloodstained poppies considering the amount of blood on his own two hands?
Son? You don't get far with debate by being a patronising *, all it shows is insecurity in your own point of view. YOU said something, which you didn't/don't want to back up, I'm simply asking you to expand on it, but if that's too difficult for you?

And I've read the thread from last night, most of what was written was covered extensively at the time (the Hearts game), when I voiced my opinion on it, if you'd care to look back.

From what I can gather is you want the GB to basically be cheerleaders who agree exactly with what you see as 'acceptable' because you can't be bothered to sing yourself, if you even go. About right?
