Seemed more like he was trying to state the two should not be related. If he genuinely wanted to know then sorry :50:

Only reason I can think of is because they want to get it up "them" other than that, I've no clue.

    Where the banned people go.

The major Palestinian groups have been implicated in extreme war crimes and lack of respect for human life though. Israel has also been implicated in extreme war crimes and lack of respect for human life. The problem is in that area I am not sure that there is an "innocent" side that has HONESTLY only ever only DEFENDED itself and not been an egregious aggressor against unarmed civilians. Causing mass homicide against innocent civilians, both on the Palestinian side, and the Israeli side, has become almost a regular occurrence. I sincerely feel that the main armed nationalist and republican combatants in Ireland have NEVER caused war crimes on the same scale as some of the Palestinian groups: e.g. Hamas. So its pointless to point out a few small examples here and there that the Irish struggle have been implicated. I love the GB myself however I am very careful not to compare the two struggles - Irish, and Palestinian, for that reason. I just pray that some day there will be a peaceful resolution over there.

Don't like that tbh. Singing their songs would just make me feel like one of them. We may see it as a * take, it could just as easily be seen as copying or a tribute, like when they do the huddle.

Does anyone know what made "them" pick it as a charity song?

Seems abit weird, putting coins into a machine instead of your fighting fund??

Aye some people are like that, I have noticed a few times when we play them like that game we were singing Penny Arcade and Simply the Best and doing the bouncy not everyone joins in as some people see it as copying them or just acting like them but I usually join in just for the fun of it.

With there now being no huns, how would people think if we started playing Simply the best at half time or after games. Imagine ex-huns knowing we're playing/singing simply the best every week :56:

A massive one reading 'CHAMPIONS' , was a pretty cool green and white banner. That's it though.

They also had a smaller one during the game that said the famous words 'The War is over, the Rebels have won!'.

Also, the aberdeen fans had a very poignant banner at the start of the game that read 'Your silence was deafening'.

    edit: found a pic,

Am I the only one that thinks this new, slow "celtiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic" chant is terrible? It drained the atmosphere today, and we have enough chants of just "celtic" anyway.
