To be fair I think every footballl fan has the right to know if the competition they pay to watch every week is legitimate or not. I dont see how the green bridage are holding anyone to ransom. They put a lot of effort in supporting the team - they have a right like everyone else not to bother if they think our club is supporting an unfair league.

I see Aberdeen fans are doing something similar. It would be great to see more supporter groups come out with statements like this. Hurting the wallets of the clubs they support sadly seems to be the best way to make their opinions heard.

Thank * for that then. For me, they are part of the entertainment that comes with going to Celtic Park to watch the hoops now.

"The Green Brigade advise that we will remain in 111 next season. We would also advise all section members to renew as soon as possible and get behind the club 100% as ever.

All information regarding renewal issues and updated will be posted on this thread so please keep an eye out. Issues such as those who were in surrounding areas but lost tickets due to standing with us will also be addressed in due course."

I'd imagine they'd have had talks with the board then, likely positive?

Delighted to hear they are renewing.

The place wouldnt be the same without them.

Ill never forget the game where they had the silent protest, what an awful atmosphere in the first half then the place came to life in the second half.

They are a different class and i cant wait to see/hear them next season!

Assuming that's a genuine statement from someone in the GB, then we can also assume that Peter Lawwell is gonna stand up to his words and be possibly the greatest hunskelper ever.

How * EXCELLENT would it be if the Mighty Tax Dodging Govan FC secured a deal with ALL their creditors except Glasgow Celtic..........

My understanding of a CVA is you only have to secure a deal with the largest creditor and then everyone receives pence in the pound that was agreed with them?

if 75% of the creditors agree to it then the other 25% have to take the same deal.

Would it be safe to say Lawwell and co have given assurances to the various supporters groups and associations that they would vote no to any newco? I can only imagine that's the reason the Green Brigade and other supporters have renewed. Hopefully that's what it is.

People where on the GB forum saying they had been relocated to 111 (overspill/bottom of section). Basically Celtic sold all the seats that had not been renewed in the sorrunding areas within 111, but kept the top section reserved during this time.

So people within 111 who are not in the groups section lost their seats for standing with the group, where as the Groups where reserved at all times.

Celtic have obviously made themselves clear to the GB, I wasn't 100% convinced that Celtic's stance would be enough to convince the GB or other supporters but we can only assume the board want the same as the supporters now.

The board have been quite pleasing over the last couple of seasons actually.

Glad everything seems sorted for the GB, roll on next season.
