Said it once and I'll say it again.

If you're carrying Pyrotechnics to a game, where you know the club and the general fanbase are going to get scorned off the governing body for it, you're a * idiot.

Stop taking them, stop using them. Pure idiotic. 'Oh I like the pretty colours and smoke'... jump on a plane and * off to Ibiza for a week and go clubbing then.

I've not hide my views on the child like grown ups who have a fascination with waving a sparkler at a football match but its just pathetic to see some trying to deflect from who it is, in the main, waving these sparklers about.

As for the Club needing to be more accountable eh !? what more do folk think they should do - We have issued statements condemning it and stewards conduct random checks/searches at the ground, so short of strip searching every one of us going into the ground thats about the limit of what the Club can do.
Although there is one thing that I can virtually guarantee would see it stop immediately or be on a very minor scale, ie one or two sparklers going off, but there would be much gnashing of teeth at that step.

Agree it's down to individual fans to grow up but the club could look at some options too - in order of preference...
    • Security screen fans in offending area of ground - like at a Hydro gig. Also check area before fans get in to catch pyro stashed before game.
    • ID the individuals from CCTV, take their season ticket away
    • Shut down the offending area of ground (again) until it stops

Sadly there is a very good chance your right and the result will be zero Celtic fans then at the following Celtic game hurting the team and denying other Celtic fans the chance of a fun away trip to watch Celtic in the Champions League. The level of obdurate selfishness here by the so called fans doing this is off the charts. They keep it up and next thing will be a ban for all or part of Celtic Park at a future home game.

Most of the time it’s not, anycunt that goes to an away game can see that and I’ve no been to many either :56:

But organised displays with Pyro, probably is. * it but, it looks class and is some atmosphere. We all buzz about other clubs in different countries atmospheres doing it, Dortmund included.

I love pyro and I think it creates a fantastic atmosphere when used correctly and safely.

If anything, I think the club should go out and challenge UEFAs draconic stance regarding pyro. The suspended punishment doesn’t fit the crime.

Brendan slamming Green Brigade and Bhoys in the presser was uncalled for.
