What else are they supposed to do here, seriously? They know we're going to hold up flags, that uefa are watching and there's another fine incoming, they can't come out and say batter in lads, would just make uefa hit us with a heftier punishment.

 

I assume Peter Lawwell doesn't want us waving flags in front of his pals from Euro Clubs Assoc... * 'em, wave them flags bhoys!

 

So is this all clubs tonight? Or just Celtic ? Because im hearing Athletico fans are also holding up flags.

And i didnt watch anything last night so was there any other clubs involved?

When it comes to the Israel Palestine conflict there is people a lot smarter and clued up on it than me to debate the actual conflict with but the board is not wanting our support to wave a national flag in a stadium as it is viewed as a political statement which is utterly mental when you consider there will be national flags flying on the north stand there will be Irish, Japanese, South Korea etc flags flying within the stadium as well no doubt. Why is one more national flag an issue ? Bear in mind I speak only about a flag not a banner supporting anything but solely a flag which is what we have been fined for before.

 

Is not about being loved. Couldn’t care less.

 

How are they realistically supposed to back us here without getting hammered for it though? It's a genuine question. The * reality here is this is uefa's competition and they make the rules, and as hypocritical as it is they will always pick and choose when to apply them and how severely, if our board were seen to be pushing back against them they would probablt clamp down harded to send a message to other teams.

 

This is simply not true. Whilst it does include the above mentioned, it’s not exclusive to them. Those with very little knowledge or interest in the conflict will also believe Celtic and its fan base are supporters of Hamas. And that’s a lot of people.

Yep i havent seen or spoken to one individual supporter of Celtic or any other team that supported Hamas at all even before these disgusting attacks.

The issue is that if you are supporting the innocent Palestinian people then a majority of * morons ie Huns, Think you are supporting what happened 2 weeks ago.....Of which no one has at all.
