ST holders not going isn't that surprising, for a whole host of reasons, but for a whole section to not go is very strange tbh.

The chances of a whole section simply deciding individually to not go is not something I will buy, it reeks of look at me/us.

I don't understand why tickets for that whole section weren't on general sale ?

Think there is different rules for the standing section. Only ST holders can buy tickets for non ST games. Health and safety rules or something.

Reading this morning that they don't do testimonials.

    Didn't attend Brown's either apparently.

So the group who think they are better than other supporters don't believe in showing support or appreciation to our most loyal players and a group who are constantly doing charity drives and asking other fans to donate to don't believe in going to a game where the proceeds go to charity.

They really are a confusing bunch.

We support the team but we don't show support to any player that stays long enough to be awarded a testimonial, and in the modern game thats rare as *. Strange stance to have tbh.

Very very bizarre, the group that constantly claim to show undying support to their team magically do a no-show for a loyal servant to the club.

Would love to hear the rationale behind that from someone in the know.

They really are a strange bunch.

Fair enough they've made that stance before aswel so it's not new. Ofcourse they may all get tickets to go with family etc we don't know. It's just strange how the group does so much for charity etc but when it's a match for charity they don't.

A boycott would be deliberately not showing up to make a specific point, and accompanied by a statement.

And it's a myth that they think they can sit wherever they want at away games and rest of the fans can “* off up the back“?

    Aye mental take.

I've not been a big fan of them over the years.
They have their good points and bad points. But they are fans at the end of the day, like me and you.

They can chose not to go to a game, doesn't make them evil.

I do however find it slightly odd that they collectively all decided not to go, but it wasn't planned that they wouldn't go.
    Seems odd.

But each to their own I guess.

When they turn up on flag day I hope the players turn their back on just their section of support.
What they did was totally disrespectful to Forrest.

There's clearly a decent number of them there at Brown's testimonial so if it's a policy, it's a new one.

It would be one thing as well if attendance at friendlies was non-compulsory for members or something, it's the fact that there's no one there. 100% there's a reason for that.

In lieu of an actual reason for the boycott, you're left to assume that they want to signal that they don't value Forrest's contributions as a player. If you didn't want people to come to that conclusion, you'd make a statement reassuring people that this isn't the case. The silence on it tells you all you need to know.

The whole section is not the Green Brigade, the majority of it isn’t. We are in the standing section and didn’t go last night. Also GB have stated there was no agenda they don’t usually go as a group to friendlies, testimonials etc.

Seen it happen on more than 1 occasion.

Do you think it's some unbelievable coincidence that they always get the best available seats at every away ground up and down the country?

Maybe every away team reward them with best seats and most prominent positions bcoz they, like the Green Brigade think they should be rewarded for going to every game under Ronny Deila

Must be an incredible amount of luck in the ballot then that they get best spots in every away game all over the country.

They are hardly likely to post it online are they?
Vast majority of Celtic supporters feel the exact same way about them. But I suppose u don't see that or know the opinions of other fans from ur position in the north curve.
