It effectively is tho..

..a boycott I mean

 

They’ll have guys at the game probably at in the standing section


But the over reaction is ridiculous

 

I love what they bring for the most part. I’m not going to relentlessly slag them off, but they can be petty as * sometimes.

Also the rest of the crowd are far too reliant on them now to create an atmosphere. Celtic Park is nothing like what it was.

 

I'm conflicted... Think I'll keep my opinion until Saturday

 

Why would they not attend charity or testimonial games? Their choice of course but that seems Strange

 

Totally agree I would rather all Celtic fans attended tonight for a player who's been a great servant to the club.

 

Get in there and make it about you

 

Aye for the majority of tonight there was barely an atmosphere...til really in to the second half..

People can do what they want but for the whole lot of them to obviously call no going was embarrassing. I don't really get it either..

 

Nobody can disagree that the GB bring a terrific atmosphere to the games as well as coming up with some wonderful tifos and do some splendid charitable work however, not attending a charity or testimonial game (particularly for someone who has given so much to the team over the years) is just odd.

 

Hilarious how people are acting as if the entire standing section is the Green Brigade

I’m simply pointing it that not everyone in that section is the GB though

 

Most will be heavily influenced by what the GB do though..

I just thought it was strange as * that that section was empty..

 

We actually had at atmosphere so good that it helped us go unbeaten in europe for a few years.
Some huge teams came to parkhead and wilted under the atmosphere and many top players where raving about the atmosphere at Celtic Park while the Green Brigade wernt even an itch in their da's bawbag

 

* weird one all round.

Disappointed they didn't turn up, regardless.

 

Most people that normally sit in my section "boycotted" the game as well it seems.

 

Possibly aye but maybe I’m too soft in my old age.


I honestly find it bizarre that some don’t actually get that’s only a small section who are GB
