Would love the GB to unveil a banner detailing facts about the Royal Family and poverty in the UK.

See how much coverage a banner like that would get.

 

They do what they need to keep the wages coming in, I kinda don't blame them in a way.

That's why I love folk like my favourites growing up, Simon Donnelly, Jackie McNamara, Tom Boyd etc always back us up.

 

Think going more political/sociological with a banner would be the perfect response to the focus that'll be on our fans. Use it as an opportunity to show them what they don't want to see - cold hard truth about inequality and corruption.

 

Don't think that would go down any better or any worse than the * THE CROWN one tbh. NO dissent or free thinking is to be permitted at this time no matter how articulate or intelligent it is.

TBH I wouldn't bother with a banner. When they have their applause just continue singing the rebs the same as any other week. Folk that are capable of appreciating the historical and cultural reasons why Celtic fans sing these songs week in week out and appreciate our right to do so will continue to do so, those that don't.. * 'em.

 

True, suppose heads are that far buried in sand that any attempt to provoke critical thinking is futile.

Not even watching it but I do remember years ago someone saying James is the only whale that activists actually want harpooned, absolute roaster of a boy.

Just seen an article on the news this morning about a mother struggling to bring up her disabled son due to the increased cost of living. You could see the stress, worry and desperation in her face as she spoke and I think it just shows how morally wrong it is to have billions spent on a funeral for the head of one of the richest families in the world.

 

Mate of mine txt me to say we should have a banner saying * Save the King, and a picture of Henrik above it. Must say that would be * immense

See. That is the type of protest majority would welcome. It shows knowledge and what is actually happening showing how disgusting royals are.
Not only brings attention...but shows them upnfor what they are.

JK the guy that had a show that was proven to be the cause of multiple suicides?
