See when you were 25, did you think you’re beliefs should be dismissed because you’re young?

I have the same beliefs as I did then, but the anger and bitterness I had I’ve let go of. But it’s more because I’ve accepted what’s the point, I can’t do * all anyway. And I hate that the fires away now, because I’ve accepted how hopeless it is to try and make things better

Tried to stay out if this one, but ima stick my oar in.

    The GB * up.

    Simple.

Imho theres nothing "wrong" with the sentiments expressed. Zero problems with it. I share them whole heartedly, and as an Irish man from the northern part of the island, it disgusts me that my own and my families, generations, have had our money taken out of our pocket and put into theirs. In order to prop up an antiquated imperialist bunch of leeches who offer no function or worth to society.

That being said, the word choice was preposterously poor.

It doesnt matter they didnt expressly say "* your queen", thats the optics of it.

Even the word "*" is low brow in the extreme.

Look at Bayerns banner. Made a point, without any recrimination or punishment. There are a thousand different ways to express the sentiment that Celtic fans couldn't give a tupenny * about the British Royals, saying "*" anything, during a live game televised across the globe is just schoolboy idiocy.

It could cost us alot more than a simple fine.

    But also, * THE CROWN.

    I was expecting a lot worse tbf though :56;

it was inevitable, we’ll get a slap on the wrist purely because it’s a UEFA competition. The weekend is the worrying one for me though, cos that’ll not be the end of it. And then it’ll be media pressure and all eyes on us, and an expectation for us to get hammered for it.

One of the rags, without a semblance of irony is running an article about what food banks are open on the day of the state paid funeral.

Cesspit akin to Game of Thrones.

There's a * good chance so why take the risk? Also, if our players are regularly running out to messages of bile and hatred I wouldn't blame them if they wanted out. Keep it about the football, ffs.

What a load of utter *. However, we will run with your stay at home with mum and dad theory. If they are 25 and still live with their parents, it’s probably because they are unable to afford to get on the property ladder. Meanwhile they are seeing their taxes go towards paying for the Royal Family to live a life of luxury, help pay for paedophiles to avoid jail, now paying towards the charade of a funeral. Most are being forced into taking a day off work now on Monday. If they are self employed, who pays their wages? Because it sure as * won’t be the Royals. Perhaps they could pay it from the inheritance tax they are getting away without having to pay? There are plenty other reasons to despise them, but the ones I’ve given directly impact on everyone.

Please tell me you don't actually believe what you have put there.

Bayerns wasn’t about the monarchy at all there was a difference. What about players like joe hart seeing that banner about the crown a guy who played 75 times for his country what does he think running out to that?

I’m not against the banners at all I just think it paints us in a bad light on the European stage if we do it. And not what we want our reputation to be in Europe

One of the most embarrassing last couple of page's I've ever seen on here..

    Player's won't want to come here :56:

Our next door neighbour's for a quick example....sing about hating an entire religion.....when half their team are catholics and visibly bless their selves..

Here's a wee smirk from our manager as well for those offended

    Have a good day folk's :ange2:

    Eh. How wasn't it ?

I don't know what Joe Hart will think, however neither do you. I doubt he was that bothered. Also him playing for England has nothing to do it with it unless you think everyone in England is pro monarchy. In which case you are obviously wrong and can't think for yourself. Plenty of people in England would share the sentiment.

plenty of people are pro monarchy as you can see from the last week or so. I’m certainly not and no doubt others aren’t either, it’s when the world is watching the most and gives them a chance to single us out and add more hate to us. Fans will first to moan if UEFA give us partial stadium closures etc

Seeing social media the last few days there's been plenty of support for it, especially if you take a look at football fan forums outwith the likes of the huns. I guess it could have been worded differently than * the crown, which is a bit blunt and going to rile some people, something like no more monarchy or make lizzy the last might have got the point over without as much backlash, but whatever, the sentiment behind it is the same, plenty of people are * off the constant forced mourning narrative being pushed and the monarchy in general, they can pretend it's us vs the world on this but it really isn't.

Our social media following (Insta and Twitter) has actually gone up in the last few days.

I've seen various threads on Twitter, some I've had to translate as they're in other languages, where there is near universal approval of our stance, receiving thousands of likes and interactions. I know some of you live in a wee bubble - largely defined by what sleazy right-wing redtops tell you - but Britain is not a well regarded country and nor are its institutions the envy of the world. Many countries have had a horrible experience of British colonialism and are very keen to point out its brutal legacy.

Some Brits have such arrogant delusions that they're attacking the * New York Times (the Western world's 'paper of record') for a number of pieces - usually penned by black academics - critical of the role of monarchy and colonialism more generally.

As has been pointed out, a Tweet which shows us as the only major club in the UK to not change our social media crest to a black one signifying mourning, has been liked over 130k times. That's far more than any gammon post about the Huns or their BNP tifo. That's because anti-colonial and anti-impieralist sentiment resonate with a far broader audience than bigoted little Englanders.

If you think the Huns have "won" this week or that we have "lost", then you haven't been paying attention.

It's a shame the old lizard never died before the game against Madrid the other week. A big * off tifo in the north curve telling the * what we think of them would have been even better.

Some of the comments on here are some laugh. If you want the huns and gammons to love you, you're better supporting another team because everything we do, or our club do they hate us for. It has * all to do with any banner or song. Do you think any of these bigoted scumbags even listened to what Kevin Bridges said before throwing a hissy fit ? Do you think they would be so pro-royal if our fan base wasn't majority anti-royal ? They hate everything we are and that will never change. * the lot of them.
