    I see what they’re trying to do it’s admirable in a way. Bringing back some classic chants.

    Drop the * * and they might have a chance.

    I’m actually surprised at the grief the GB get but these lads and their add ons seem to be getting accommodated.

    Either the club is giving them enough rope or we are happy for this religious bigotry to be ramped up.

    I know what you are saying but the Hammer & Sickle has been used for years as a symbol of Socialism. I actually had one on the sleeve (badge) of my bomber until last month. I didn’t want to be perceived or have to explain that is wasn’t support for Russia. It is a Soviet symbol and it stands for nothing that Russia represents today.

    To the ignorant it probably equates to the same thing. That’s what happens when you are gullible enough to take the World News as Gospel unfortunately. I also believe so many decent Russians are against this war but they have been tarred by the one brush mostly.

    I've done the Davey Cooper & Nacho Novo chants, but it's something I now regret.

    You reach a certain age and you should begin to see how fragile life is & how destructive any real form of hate for other people can be. The opposition to the Protestant add-on is part being anti-sectarian, but I'd also say part older Celtic fans that have been there and worn the t-shirt trying to steer the younger ones away from the mistakes they made. It's how we progress not only as a football club but as a people.

    The chants are indefensible & wrong. It won't be long before it causes real animosity within the Celtic support.
