  1. If they fell they wish to do that then that'll be up to them.

I doubt that the remainder of the stadium will be sat on their hands being so quiet then...

  2. Yes. However probably won't be an issue as most of the ground will turn up sing for that game. Yet they can't do it week in and week out. Yet when it is Motherwell at home it is the * that turn up week in and week out and create and atmosphere and spur the team on that get the blame. * ridiculous.

  3. They’ve not told people they aren’t allowed to sing though.

If this rat is appointed then the protests will probably still happen

  4. It's actually mind-blowing when you think about what is actually being said!

  5. Aye, it's frustrating for everyone...

We're powerless and must continue to try and have more of say on how the club is run...

But just because the board are silent doesn't mean fans being silent in return is working as a tactic..

At this stage it makes zero difference to the appointment of Higgins one way or another..

    So, for me pointless..

  6. Ange and the players now mentioning it affecting the team.

The board don’t give a * about the fans so hopefully they listen to the actual team and manager and do something about it.

The arrogance is honestly astounding. They’ve a political open goal here to get back in the good books of some fans yet they’re digging their heels in.

  7. Well, as I say, Higgins hasn't been appointed (as of yet) so there's no possible way of saying it isn't working...

I know that and not having a go.

It's the fact, if people sing they're deemed not supporting the protest, if they don't sing they're getting g hammered for not singing. A protest about a matter at boardroom level shouldnt have fans at each others throats. On one hand you want unity but the other saying for fans to go against the protest and sing. It makes no sense.

  8. This is true mate. However they only reason they have that area is because of the effort they put into gathering together. So that is the difference. If other groups are willing to put the same effort in then losing that area would not have the same impact. However can you see that happening ?

  9. Atmosphere has been great at times for generations before the GB came along. What they have done is make it decent almost every game.. Much to their credit..

But, it is a bit unfair to expect everyone to get things doing when the GB have started almost every chant for seasons.

  11. Get what you're saying about groups dotted throughout the stadium.

I know it's a separate issue to the protest but as I've said above I'd like to see us knock down the Jock Stein stand (if we're ever redeveloping the stadium) and replacing it with a huge single-tier stand, that is all safe-standing. That way we'd hopefully get all those who want to sing and create an atmosphere in one part of the ground while also creating an intimidating Yellow Wall type vibe similar to Dortmund.

  12. Well there shows ye, as much as folk say the GB "don't speak for them" - they absolutely are essential at CP.

  13. I'll ask you specifically this time as no one answered my question...

If fans sing, will they be considered as not supporting the cause/protest?

If they stay silent then they are getting told to sing and create an atmosphere themselves....that isn't showing unity with all the groups and CSC's, social media sites, here included.

We seem to be between a rock and a hard place.

  14. The Green Brigade don't speak for me... but I expect them to sing for me.

  15. Not like them. After last season, it's clear to see that they only care about the fans as long as they're parting with their hard earned.

  16. This issue is probably already resolved behind closed doors but they can't let their pride take a battering by being seen to bow to fan pressure

  17. Again with starting the obvious. You think I've had my head in the sand for the past decade? Any chance of actually addressing the actual question?

  18. Last few games there’s been wee bursts from folk.

  19. That's an excellent shout M8 however, knowing the board, they might think it would just encourage more criticism aimed at them from among our most vocal fans
