I have cried tears of joy many times at Celtic park
I have cried a tear of sadness once at henrik’s last game
Today I have cried at the death of Palestinians and Celtic (in my eyes this is not Celtic anymore)
That’s how bad these events have touched me
If I could I would run to Palestine this minute and give those poor people everything I have
I will not be renewing and donating the costs of the st’s I buy for family to the palestinians

 

Just catching up on this now. Shouldn’t be surprised by anything that our board does this season but this is a new low.
An absolute disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves.

 

Not surprising though mate. The rat that is Peter Lawwell wanted to give the Green Brigade "enough rope to hang themselves" a few years ago. The quicker * like him are gone from our club the better. As long as we aren't replacing him with one of his own kind.

 

If he is using the GB’s support for Palestine and the removal of flags as a giuy to them then he is a sick individual
If he isn’t, and he’s just not wanting anything to show support to the Palestinians then he is a sick individual

I might get stick for this but I'm finding it very hard to support my club when it's been run by these absolute * scumbags. Im finding it very hard to put my hand in my pocket to support my club when I know some of it is going into the pockets of these *.

I’m struggling now to justify renewing
This is not the Celtic I was brought up with or support
I know you have to separate the Plc from the team but it’s becoming difficult
How do you support the team without aiding and assisting the board....supporting the team means making financial commitments and as such you are contributing to the clubs revenues which in turn makes the board a success, as money appears to be their only measurement in defining success

 

I might get stick for this but the way they hung the GB out to dry is right up there with the worst things they have done this season.

Football results come and go. The values that the club was built on are what makes me come back week after week, win lose or draw.

That absolutely sickened me today. Thankfully the charlatans running the club are just borrowing it and will be gone soon enough. The support will always be there.

If the majority of the support ever stopped caring about the downtrodden in society though...

Imo if your a supporter who didn’t choose to support Celtic but were born into Celtic then you know you are not just supporting a fitba team but being part of a culture and as such support for oppressed cultures comes naturally
But also we have to understand that there will be fans who choose to support Celtic and some of those will follow us for footballing/sporting reasons only
Just can’t understand how anyone cannot feel empathy and compassion for those poor children suffering in that * hole

 

Just picking up on this, wow! The lifeblood is being siphoned from our club by these people.

I have always known the board were scummy weasels, a bit surprised some of our fans are also behaving like weasels and supporting them.....they need to go scrub themselves with bleach in the shower.

I can just imagine how furious Broony would have been seeing the flags, ....my fat * hairy *. Corporate appeasement, nothing more nothing less.

I have no energy left after this past year.. tough one Celtic related and non Celtic related.. I'm sure we will clash again but for now I think we both see the problem facing Celtic in the boardroom and both want what's best for Celtic.. that and I'm sick of getting banned.. haha

We all want what’s best for the club, that can spill over into passionate debates.

I’m completely dejected and in utter despair that the actions of those running our club have me in a situation where I am debating ever going back to watch us.

A club that has brought me so much joy throughout my life from childhood until now, it’s part of my life every day and it will never not be.

As for those who run the club, their values are the total opposite to mine, and quite frankly the arrogance they display on a regular basis and the utter contempt they demonstrate towards our supporters means that I genuinely can’t go back until they are no longer there.

The people that run the club are so far removed from the principles that resulted in our club being founded, and those that have made us so unique over the years throughout our existence.

It saddens me that a group of individuals can make me feel this way, I feel like I’m almost opposed to what we now stand for as a club, which is an incredibly distressing situation for me to be in, as if feels like my allegiance is being questioned, although I know I’m not alone.

What they stand for is slowly but surely turning life long supporters away, those with the values that help make Celtic such a unique club. They’ve been aspiring towards this over the years and it * sickens me, more than words can describe.

The owner and his stooges in the Plc are slowly wearing away the culture, knowledge and political awareness of a support that is renowned for these traits
They want a support sanitised of any reasonable ability to question their motives.
In an ideal world they would much prefer a Celtic support akin to the tourist market you get down south (FFS if the * could make money out of half and half old firm scarves you can be sure they would jump at the opportunity)
They really see us now as customers to buy their product and see loyalty as a way to manipulate more money from us without needing to return or earn that loyalty
Tonight’s episode show that they will jump on any current issue if it’s politically correct or getting positive coverage in the media (rainbow laces. BLM. Mental health etc) not because it’s the morally correct stance on the issue but for no other reason than good PR, but will not stand up for others if there could be any criticism of them from certain sections of British society
How long before they actually start referring to supporters as customers...they are employed by Celtic, it’s a job, aye they may love the job but at the end of the day, they really are only in it for a wage because could you see them doing it for nothing or for the love of Celtic...no * chance....but we the fans would probably do any job at Celtic for nothing other than to be part of brother walfrids club (before anyone says that players are also of that mind...bollocks...they would still be playing whether they got paid or not)

 

Even the Whites and Kelly’s, for all their (many major) faults, knew the importance of the political will of the support.

If the * in charge just now were in charge in the 50s they would have took the Tricolour down quicker than you could say Tiocfaidh Ar La.
