What are you on about? There was obviously booing in the away end, hence saying home end.

And most people would have just said from our fans, and where exactly is the home end at Parkhead?

Don't give oxygen to this Poppy debate.

There is no rule that everyone must wear a Poppy. It is an individual's choice.

And very understandably there is going to be a lot of Celtic supporters, especially those with Irish heritage or from Ireland, who will choose not to wear one. Why would they when the Brits killed countless of innocent civilians for no reason other than been Irish Catholics. * Sunday, Ballymurphy Massacre etc.

Anyone booing the Green Brigade need to take a long-hard look at themselves IMO.

To be fair, the Poppy and a silence on remembrance Sunday is two entirely different things.

I don't wear a poppy for obvious reasons. The original message has been hijacked to represent something far more sinister. Therefore I'll exercise my right not to wear one.

Thought the chanting and walking out of the minutes silence was unnecessary though. Particularly the silence, which can be as personal as you want it to be. I'm happy enough to not cause a scene for one minute as I try remember those who deserve to be remembered. Those who gave their lives fighting the sort of fascism we were so quick to stand up against this month.

I just stood outside until after kick off, as said if this was representative of the two great wars then fine but it’s not. It has become about British nationalism and hijacked, also if the * in suits can make the decision to send these ‘heroes’ all over the place defending our so called freedom. Then surely they can pay for the consequences that come with such acts.

I understand why disrupting the silence is controversial, but the decision to observe it as an event or not is a personal choice.

No one caused a scene by walking out immediately before or during the silence: some people refrained from taking their seats until the silence had been observed.

It was, in my opinion, the most appropriate and civil way of not observing the silence, and it allowed people who did wish to observe the silence to do so.

What does the silence mean? It's really difficult and reqonable people might well disagree on what's appropriate.

On the one hand, the whole thing's a farce. The two countries that make the biggest deal about remembering our war dead are the two most warmongering countries in history. You only have to look at the martial symbology surrounding the day to see what it is really about. On that level, it absolutely deserves to be undermined and treated with utter disdain.

On the other hand, plenty of good, ordinary people take the day and the silence at face value and want to pay their respects.

On the whole it's quite hard to know what to do. Two things are sure, though:

    1) Where people might reasonably disagree, we should treat people who make different choices from us with respect for their right to express their choice.

    2) Anyone who argues that the silence should be observed can stop arguing that there's no place in football for politics. The silence is definitely political.

Ideally the whole day will be depoliticised eventually and the issue will go away.

If people want to show respect then go to a remembrance service and let those who want to enjoy sporting events get on with it

There is a time & a place for everything ... lets keep it that way

    One memorial day is enough.

The UK has fallen silent for the 101st Armistice Day since World War One to commemorate those who died in conflict. It is the centenary of the first two-minute silence,

held on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
