Your ‘Aye the GB set off several of these * flash bangs on Sunday‘ comment is not true

The 2,900 safe standing ticket holders are not the GB

 

I was there Bobo and the flashbangs went off near the front of the standing section right in the middle of the green brigade. Also the smoke bombs were set off at the very front next to their big flags.

 

I'm a big fan of the pyrotechnics. Scottish football should introduce safe pyrotechnics with the clubs and supporters working together to improve the spectacle as a whole with more colour and displays in the stands. Remember seeing a documentary about Norwegian football and safe pyro. We should follow their example.

 

Agreed. As long as it was fan driven.

Pyros setup a safe distance from the crowd,when you score then they are let off.

It's part of the identity and culture of football, the ultras fans. They bring colour noise passion when the quality on the park is *, the atmosphere in the stands can be great entertainment. I've got no issue with the pyro. The displays. The drums. There should be more and organised displays. Safe fireworks that don't set off too much heat. Smoke bombs to go off before the game. The sensible thing would be do allow safe pyro. But Scottish football still lives in the past and loves to tear itself apart with negativity. The firecracker was rubbish but pyro shouldn't be banned. Fans shouldn't be criminalised for it. The clubs and supporters should work together to get it right.

Was there also. Flash bangs went off over to the right of the section, 109 area. Not GB members

No qualms about the smoke bombs. Went off up through the middle of 111. Don’t have a problem with them personally

 

This won't change until there are some serious injuries to someone in the crowd. Until then it will continue as is.lndespite bans, warnings, fines etc...usually need a very serious incident for people to wake up.

 

I dont mind smoke bombs if they are kept in the stands, the one that got set off at the weekend was thrown on the pitch and scorched the turf, the turf that has plastic fibres that the club paid a shitload on, well done.

 

Ultras fans and pyro have nothing to do with the identify and culture of Celtic.

 

.....to the horses * that threw the banger......you're an absolute * head......what happened to a support that took 85000 fans to Saville without incident.....to a support that received world recognition for their impeccable behaviour.....* off and 'support' another team......disgraceful.
