i'm in the section , the only talk of people getting shifted is because not pulling their weight, the only time the group had anything to do with allocation of season books is when i gave them my name.other than that everything goes through Celtic. but to say that they would get thrown out the section for not walking out is a lot of *. someones been either telling you lies or you have been making them up yourself.

Changing the course of this discussion somewhat...
Anyone seen the guys outside CP (I think only after games when it's dark) selling those green lightsabre type things. Anyone else think the GB should buy a load of them up for the huns game? How awesome would that look, evening kick off, rather than fans the whole section waving essentially large green glowsticks. Like flares, but legal.

If you did not give the GB your name you would not be in that section which means the GB have the power of who sits in that section ?

So the GB will kick out people if they are not pulling there weight, well what would they have done to those who did not walk out with them. I will tell you they would have removed them from the section next season

Are you a GB member ?

If not did you know when the GB walked out over the drum before you decided to walked out with them or did you find out that out after you had walked out.

i know a couple of bhoys who walked out with them and they didn't know the reason why they were walking out but they wanted to show a unity with them and when they found out why they walked at they were embarrassed that they walked out on a club that they love for a drum

What part am i making up the part were you have to ask the GB to join their section. If you wanted to be in there section you had to let them know. As someone said earlier the GB did a ballot of tickets that they had not allocated to their members in their section. This is the reason that other fans got kicked out of their seat last season to accommodate the GB section

As for the GB kicking the non GB members out for their section for not walking out with them we will never know that answer as they did walk out with them.

Maybe someone will have the balls to stay in the section if the GB decided to walk out on our team for something as little as having their drum taking of them again. Then we would see what happened to the fan.

I actually didn't realise that the Green Brigade was as organised as this. Walking about with my eyes shut by the looks of it.

How do they organise all of their activities, make new songs etc? I take it they have their own website or something?

Maybe it was the best place they could get all together at that time.

They have meetings every couple of weeks I think, I dont know if they keep stuff where they have the meetings or anything or if its a "secret" so I wont say where it is where they'll dicuss things. Stokes was at their meeting a couple of weeks ago I think as he knows one of the main guys and turned up and phoned them saying im outside lol

Does anyone ever see the GB section expanding and possibly taking up half a stand in the future?

I'd be for it :icon_mrgreen: Best atmosphere in the land without a doubt.

Think it's an ultras thing to be allocated to a curve or corner Of the stadium

Not at all, would be more 'ultra' to be situated behind a goal. (This trend began as it has always been cheaper in stadiums behind the goals.)

When the GB was formed by ex-members of the JB they started in 111 as it had the highest number of avaliable seats together near the back which allowed them to stand and hang their group banner.

Good debating skills there mate. If you had anything to add to the debate you would have tried to disprove anything i had said in it. But i forgot the GB section of this forum is were you are ment to go and and tell the GB they were brilliant after every game.

For that to happen though you need more fans to be joining in. No point having a 2000 strong section and only about 500 going for it for the full 90.

    This.

You see how much the section has improved because almost everyone to a man is coordinated.

Expanding it would be good, but EVERYONE needs to be singing off the same hymnsheet and no mutes.

The Green Brigade are what they are and your mates are a bit naive if they go about standing with political groups and do not know what they are about or if they had some sort of protest going on that day.

If the Green Brigade decided to have a naked day the day your mates were in amongst them, would they have followed suit? If so your mates would be more suited standing in a field with white woolly coats on.
