I never said that I don't join in with the singing as I do. The difference is I sit whilst singing as there is someone a couple of seats behind me that has a disability and and is not able to stand the whole game. The only time my section has stood the whole game was the last Huns match and that SUPPORTER with the disability missed most of the match.

While I have the uttermost respect for people with disabilities and I am not having a go. Surely Celtic would accomodate them to a more suitable area of the stadium so they don't have to worry about missing the action etc?

Agreed - not to sound cynical but no-one should have their matchday experience hampered because a disabled guy is close by.

This. I thought anyone with a disability sat right at the front, in that gap between row A and the advertising boards? Surely by sitting a disabled person behind other people it will mean they need to climb stairs to get to their seat? Plus you can't really expect people to sit down for the whole game. If there's a chance, everyone stands up in anticipation. It wouldn't be fair on someone who couldn't stand to miss that chance, and possibly goal.

Yeah, that's what I mean. It's not fair for the person who has a disability and it's also not fair for people who stand up during games, which the vast majority of fans will do at some point during every game.

The area he sits in at the moment is suitable for him as he has sat there since the stand was built. I am sure that he would have moved by now if he thought that the area was not suitable. I don't mind sitting down at Celtic park as you can still sing whilst being seated

Like I say I'm not having a go, I haven't been in your section so I don't know all of the variables.

Just if it was a regular inconvenience then I know what I would do if I were in that situation. From what you say, it's not so what I said doesn't apply. I would just want what is in the best interest for every supporter, depending on the disability, it actually could become a health and safety issue. However, I'm sure this particualr gentleman enjoys 99% of the games then!

But, sitting and singing is absolutely fine in my book. Maybe not a preference, personally. But you're still backing your team.

Fans in the area do stand at certain points in the match like most of the crowd do. The bhoy with the disability also stands during these moments, he is just not able to stand for the whole match this reason he no longer goes to the away matches. I go to the away matches but i don't sing any louder standing than i do sitting at Celtic park

If this news about the section getting expanded is true, then that's absolutely brilliant! I'll be relocating if it's true :icon_mrgreen:

Why did you not relocate to section 414 when this was the official singing section. The GB were also in that section before having a fall out with members of the Jungle Bhoys.

Do they? I know there's the forum but I didn't think they had an official website.

I know that it is a pain having to me etc but if it is for the greater good of the club ie getting more season tickets sole and getiing a fantastic atmosphere, I think that I would make the sacrifice.

To be honest, I hate when I hear whinging Killie, Motherwell fans, moaning when they are asked to move seats on old firm visits. ' i've been sat there since 19 canteen...' etc

How will we sell more season tickets if this is implemented ?
Since the GB have started up the number of season tickets have decreased although us having less season ticket holders now has nothing to do with the GB

The only way we will get more season tickets sold is if we have a better team on the park.

There are to many fans of all clubs who will only support there team when they are doing well and playing good football.

Because in those days, I went to the games with my dad and we had our seat for years, and loved our seats.

You didn't move seats because you loved your seat but you expect me to move from a seat i enjoy sitting at so that someone like yourself can take my seat.

414 was a * section to allocate as the singing section in the first place.
