Celtic Supporters Thread (contains GB chat)

Is there a Celtic fan on the board elected by the Celtic fans to represent them? The board might be getting things right in a lot of ways, but the taking a further step like the one I'm suggesting would benefit everyone.

Celtic is the fans and a lot feel marginalised by the club who seem only interested in cash.

Funny how * are always going on about they think the Green Brigade see themselves as better fans than everyone else but are equally quick to tell us all who are proper Celtic fans or not.

 

Where exactly did I say that? Who did I say were better fans? You're putting words into my mouth. I meant it exactly as it reads.

The GB are amazing when doing displays like Barca, and that'l never be surpassed. However, when making political statements, surely someone must think, 'Will this hurt the club I love?". Unfortunately, no-one is taking issue with those Sevco bigots and i'd rather see banners like 'Is it ok to sing about * * ?'

I would say on average a member of the Green Brigade is a better fan than a non-member. Just my opinion.

I agree.

They shouldn't have any preferential treatment over any other Celtic supporter. I'm not suggesting that.

I'm only suggesting that there is communication between the two so we can avoid situations where we are receiving fines and having 900 of our fans banned.

 

I'm a shareholder but have no say on appointments to the board. Neither do most fans..

A fans representative, elected by fans & representing the fans as well as getting the boards point of view to the fans could work really well for everyone.
