    I'm certain there would be no fine if Saltires were displayed at Parkhead.

    That's kind of what I was getting at. A national flag is a national flag. I don't think it's right for UEFA to decide that the flag of one state is acceptable while the flag of another is "illicit". Can open........worms everywhere.......

    Remember Barca were fined for a Catalan flag. Would the English displaying their George cross not be the same thing. It seems the rules are flexible to suit UEFAs political leanings

    I am using it as a comparison as to how UEFA can deem some flags legitimate and others not. No need for people to get their knickers in a twist over this. It's not as if I am calling for a ban on the saltire

    I think "bending over backwards" is an exaggeration. The standing section is mutually beneficial for all parties.

    One of Celtic's main marketing weapons is the atmosphere. How often do you hear people outwith Scotland talk about the crowd?? Even the Hapoel manager mentioned last night he hoped his fans could repeat the same tonight.

    The atmosphere is part of the attraction for people purchasing matchday tickets, albeit a successful team on the park is the biggest.

    I agree the PUBLIC silence from the board of directors has been one of the best decision they've made in these circumstances.

    Last 20 minutes, those 150 souls were practically the only people I could hear in the stadium.

    Couldn't hear much in the pub but to hear that our fans were singing in those last 20mins, hats off I could barely even talk I was so nervous.

    Anyone heard if there being any trouble inside or outside the ground?

    P.s I love seeing all the flags and banners at away games........ not sure what CSC the stripey green, white and orange flag was down the front last night though but it looked absolutely brutal. Pictures of the celtic way on a flag? Nah, not for me. Keep it traditional.
