Great stuff by the GB today. Few different displays and the corteo looked brilliant!

The banner before the game was top class, up there with the Salzburg, Inter and Gorgie flats one for me. I love the ones with more that one element to them the best.

I know they're probably running a bit low on cash after today's banners :smiley-laughing002: but I really hope they do something for Izzy next week even if it's only small. The relationship between him and the GB has always been really good and he was in pretty much in tears clapping them today.

Just randomly going through some pages of this thread from a few years ago, wow this thread got a whole lot better after certain posters either disappeared or got banned. :smiley-laughing002:

Based off the highlights of the game and celebrations onyyoutube i didn't hear any noise frok the green brigade for the second home game running....has there been another issue with the club and the green brigade again? Without them celtic park is like a morgue.

They were quiet to be fair and their drummers seemed to have taken an early summer break!

Visually they were good yesterday but in terms of atmosphere they seem to have totally lost the noise and energy they used to have. Totally appreciate what they do and the fact that the rest of the stadium barely joins in, not much to cheer on the park etc but they compared to the high standards they have set themselves they seem to just be going through the motions at times. I expect next season will b different though :50:

One thing that was obvious though from watching them yesterday is how well organised the group are now after 10years. Too many people just think of it being a group of daft wee boys but that's clearly not the case and the reason they are still going strong.

In terms of noise yesterday I think they had too much going on with changing displays throughout the game, too many spent more time running up and down the exits with the stuff :smiley-laughing002: so yeah, you guys are right, I think the volume and energy was lacking from the usual, combination of that and the sort of meh second half

Think the energy will be back around the place next season, as much as most of us hate to admit it, I think crowds will rise slightly now the Huns are in the SPL. Also, if we get a decent management team in that should get the place buzzing a bit. I do think we have quite a lot to look forward to this summer and next season.

I agree, large parts of this season have been a chore to turn up and the standard of entertainment has in the main been poor, just fresh hope that things will be more easy on the eye, no more 1 up front, dead wood hopefully cleared etc etc will and should refresh us over the summer so we all come back with something to cling to.

I hope so, I'm far from a fan of his but think he deserves the recognition and thanks for guiding us to 2 Leagues no matter what people may have to say about that, he is also a dignified guy that has never rubbished the club and I'm certain never will, so it's a big yes from me :50:
