    As far as I am aware National Service in the UK ended in the 60s so anyone fighting wars now on behalf of the British government has done that as a career choice and I have no hesitation in saying I have no sympathy for them let alone any intention wearing a flower to commemorate their deeds.

    The only thing more cringeworthy than the annual Poppy pish is all this Help For Heroes nonsense.......heroes to who may I ask?

    If they really need a charity set up to help the wounded financially, what does that say for the government that sent them their in the first place and the attitude they have towards these "pawns" in their bigger game.
