I completely agree mate. The less we songs we sing to associate us with those sectarian hooligans, the better.

I even despise the phrase 'Old Firm' We are in no way like them whatsoever. We win the fair play award because our FANS were so pleasant and well behaved. Not to mention brought the largest ever away support in the history of the tournament. Rangers, in the same tournament, DESTROY Manchester and conduct themselves in an absolutely sickening manner.

    Wrong.

The last time we played them at the shitpit, every hun had a union jack placed on their seats, creating a mass display of union jacks.

I was actually laughing at them because it looked so pathetic, and I know many others who reacted the same way. There was certainly no mass outrage from the Celtic support, or a "calling for their heads" as you put it.

Heard some folk mention this lately, but it's not really a GB thing is it? It's been sung at Celtic Park for as long as i can remember.

Glad the season is back now, GB in good voice at the weekend there.

don't know if there are members of the green brigade on here, that could maybe answer my question. however, does anyone know why they sit where they do at celtic park? i would have thought the singing section would be more fitting in the same area as the old jungle rather than up the traditional 'rangers end'. this is just a wee question ive had.

Maybe there was more spaces to get their members there in the first place and just stayed there.

Sat next to these lads today for the first time at Celtic Park since they got their section, I usually sit elsewhere. They were excellent, was great to see just how much passion and energy they put into supporting the 'Tic. It was great to see it up close, also didn't realise they got hassle from the police with the cameras, have these * not got anything better to do ?

They even got a good wee rendition of Boys of the old brigade on the go, keep up the good work GB! :celt_2:

That video is pretty cool, but not to sure about setting fire to places and rioting. Isn't that the hun thing to do?

I love and hate The Green Brigade. They create a great atmosphere. But all the IRA stuff and copying Eastern European crackpots is growing old.

I'm sure they will change, adapt and modernise as they go. Although I doubt they will let go of their history.
