I generally agree with this although I used to live in Rutherglen and found it pretty mixed although there are more hun pubs than Celtic ones, Andy Goram used to have one I can't remember which one but my mate said he was always pished and up dancing on tables singing the sash and generally making a fool of himself haha.

I'm shocked that no one has added the Calton into the list of tim places in Glasgow the place we were founded :celt_2:

They play for CFC just to reach the EPL. No love for CFC as deluded fans think
    Fav Celtic Song:
Singing against English repression in English. Hahahaha, always a good laugh
:54::54::54: Well, I must say I am surprised, I though their Celtic background influenced them to be Celtic fans.
    Happy to hear that! :50:

Being a non Scot, I always thought the Tartan Army was made up of a good proportion of Highlanders? Now if they are Huns why are they so anti union and royalty when they watch Scotland yet when they follow club football they love it to bits? Always confuses me.lol.

Pretty sure there's still more orcs in scotland than Tims! Not sure of the ratio though!

    Doesn't really matter though!

We know we're better in every sense and that's what's important! :icon_mrgreen:

Really want to head to Barraigh, Uibhist and Bhatarsaigh to watch a Celtic match with the Celtic supporters there.

I live in Forres and i'd say its about 60% huns, 30% celtic, 10% aberdeen. Theres a few dundee united and inverness fans, everyone in my school supports forres mechanics but hardly anyone goes to the games unless its a cup or important league game. There was a rangers shop in Elgin for half a summer then got shut down, the hoops shop in inverness has been going strong for years. Id say inverness people support inverness or rangers and in dingwall they all support Ross county :50: aberdeens got heaps of tims though!

Lots of Tims in Stirling. Amongst students anyway. Don't know about the city itself but it has a Celtic shop.

Quite a lot in Ayr, Alloway, Prestwick and Troon as well (by no means a majority, but there's a lot). Out of maybe 700 people at my old school I think I could have counted the number of Huns in one hand - was a Catholic school right enough. The rest of Ayrshire's Hun territory.

Taking the bus up to matches after taking the boat over Ayrshire reminds me of a right loyalist hole to be honest. Especially Girvan, is it?

Just a thought, does Fife have a big Irish community/ Celtic support? Seems to be quite a lot of posters on here from that neck of the woods and always thought to mention it.

I grew up in Fife and I would certainly say that there are more Rangers fans than Celtic. The "fifers never support their local team" claim is pretty true as many families are only a generation or two removed from Glasgow. But this applies to both celtic and rangers, and there are far more of a lowland Scottish background in Fife, than an Irish migrant background (I am half and half!).

I have also spent a lot of time in Dundee and without a doubt that it is a Celtic city. Irish migration both directly from Ireland and also via Glasgow has been a big part of Dundee's history and because of this many families attached themselves to either Celtic or Dundee Utd. You only need to count the number of buses that leave from around that area to go to Celtic Park every week.

I live in Edinburgh now and it is very hard to tell, all my friends support Hearts or English teams. Very few people seem to give a * either way about Celtic or Rangers. After Fife and Dundee I couldnt believe how tough it was to find a pub in town showing an old firm game on a sunday afternoon in Edinburgh.

Most definitely. Place is hoaching with them.

In global terms though, there can be no question. Their worldwide appeal is non existent.

Would say ratio wise, we edge it in Glasgow. Rest of Scotland is different story.

Regarding Fife: It has been described as a 'sespit of howling hunage' lol.
In it's defence, good number of CSC's in fife etc. There are villages in some parts that are either almost 100% Celtic or 100% deadco.

Full of Hibs/Diets. Folks that support their local club are about 5%.

Cheers man, always wondered about that. Thought maybe one of the boats on route to New York from here got lost and ended up docking in Fife and the occupants saying " * it, its not New York but they do have a pub".

So its just full of aul Weegie immigrants you say? must be a rough place then :icon_mrgreen:
