All I said was that attendances were dropping....I'm no mathematician but they figures do suggest I am correct.

I could also say that the attendances under MON were rising....

You are INCREDIBLY selective with these statistics.

By your reckoning (rise in average spectators) Strachans both first 2 sides have been an improvement on Seville 2003 side. Yes thats right both years we had more spectators. This reasoning frankly is idiotic.

The fact is extenuating circumstances affect these figures so please stop somehow twisting it into somehow Strachan driving fans away it really is pathetic.

    ahem, ANYWAY.........

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Celtic | Celtic chase Croatia's Vukojevic

This shines a light on it a bit. With it being BBC and all, but still its only in the process of being dealt with.

It isnt the finished article yet, but it looks hopeful.

There are supposedly a few big clubs interested in the player.

Hope we pip them to the post.

enough of the wgs debate, MORE ON THIS FELLA!

These agents are * throwing in the big names. IF he is what he's supposed to be (look away Donati/Brown) then I'd be all for signing this guy but once bitten twice shy in my case. We really gotta be sure about this guy to spend that kind of money.

Celtic have some of the best and most respected scouts in the World. They will have done thier homework.

You can never tell who will not adjust to Scottish Football. It's a try and see situation. Generaly, Italians and Spaniards have a hard time, but Eastern Europeans generally fair much better.

    he said 'generally'.

and he's right. only one or two good italians and spaniards in our history.

the grit of eastern european players fits well with our league. i hope we sign Vukojevic and he lives up to his hype.

    Keep The Faith

Says here that Dinimo want an extra 1.5 Million bucks, than Celtic have offered & that he's now on the radar of some bigger (money wise) clubs.

Also suggests that his preference is to sign for Ajax.

Anyway fingers crossed I'd like to get him, but the price seems to be going up & up every day.

    How much for Fletcher??

I'd hate to de-rail this thread but some big signings in Strachans era hardly make our scouts look good :86: Don't get me wrong I think this guy could be magic but I really don't wanna see another multi-million transfer go to pot a lá Donati.
