So in the next 6 months we've more CL money, VVD income, plus another £30mil+ of season tickets, prize money, merch money, at the absolute minimum?

These sort of thigns will only refuel the debates on why we aren't pushing the boat out a bit more. A CB of real quality and a new Keeper for the long term was a must in the winter window.

That said, could we possibly be trying to get to the stage that we have a buffer of enough assets/cash flow/bank what ever to cover a year of missing the CL?

As in, we will have the £30m as the buffer, and then what we make from here on out is above a year of missing the CL and that money can be pushed out??

No, it's cause some * wee countries don't buy full UEFA CL rights, some like say Tanzania might only buy the rights to individual games and the final. So because UEFA don't know the exact amount of income that will be split up and dished out they need to wait until all the money has come in. We recieve all the bonus money and other money as we go but the "Market Pool" or TV Money which it really is only gets paid out at the end.

It's a very very low interest rate bak overdraft that we use.
All clubs and other businesses use them on a day to day basis.
Nothing to be at all concerned about, it helps to keep our credit good. Like using credit cards in personal life.

Or so that is how it pieces in my mind when I get told/read about it.

Would make a little sense, few years back we were told that we needed to make it, what 3 out of 5 years to keep up our investment/spending as we had it. So would make some sense to try and have a shortfall to also cover a lost year to prevent any sort of desperate need to sell a Dembele.

Maybe we’re storing some cash for our bid for Paddy Roberts at the end of the season :34:

no point in spending for the sake of it were on course to do what's needed , we have brought in some good players again in january though and hopefully the summer we can spend a bit more.

We owe them £6.55million in total, all in loans. We don't use the overdraft they allow us - we used to years ago when money usually dried up around now until we got money in at the end of the season but in recent years we've always had more money than we needed.

We have £37.41million cash in banks, I think we use like 6 different banks and split it all up.

After we deduct the £6.55million we owe the banks we have £30.86m. So we could pay off all our bank debt and have that left but we pay the bank debt off at fixed rate £200k every 6 months I think.

The loans as well are 2 seperate ones, one is the one we pay back £200k every 6 months and the other one we don't need to pay anything until a certai point in time it might be July 2019 or something but we always get that extended so it may already have been.

I'm expecting significant spending this summer. I'll give them the benefit of doubt regarding January.

the market is limited in England , couple of 6m or 7m players brought in wont buy you much of a player down there so we've loaned in 2- 20m ones in Roberts and Musonda.. not much quality to get in the SPL then we would always have to go foreign for signings such as the next VVD and Wanyama, then wich is a gamble too i guess.

So were building enough cash so when interest rates go up (and * my mortgage) we can sign a free £10m player every season?

we seem to be cherry picking the best young players that are around first team squads such as Man City and Chelsea.

30 million in the bank. Money from Europa coming our way. A squad brimming with very valuable player assets ( Tierney , Dembele , Griffiths , Armstrong , Simunovic , Ntcham , Rogic , Forrest ) must be 70 mill plus right there. Another tilt at the UCL coming , another 52k season tickets to sell .

Nobody is getting near the green juggernaut.
