Suddenly it's a bad thing our club has money even though when Minty was spending the banks money and they had a team for the SPL and another for Europe that was great. Once again it will be Armageddon as no team will be able to win any trophies and Celtic will clean up every season.

So we've got about another £6million in Champions League TV money yet to come?

This is an outrage. I hope the SFA are launching a full scale investigation. UEFA are clearly under the influence of Peter Lawwell and are trying everything in their power to thwart the triumphant march of the Queen's XI back to the summit of Scottish Football.

Talking to the company accountant of my work today and he is a massive Celtic fan and like to dissect all the financial guff and said to a few of us looking at the interim results and historical 2nd half of financial year performance then he guesstimates turnover to be £82m - £87m in the final report with expediture between £62 - £65m so asked him where does the difference go if it's the minimums £82m-£62m leaves surplus of £20m he said that will either payoff the long term debenture to co-op fully £16m odd and rest be held as cash or it will all be held as cash at bank.

He reckons we would need to hold off making signings of any significance without CL money as we could go into red within a season or sell a player like Moussa or Stu to cover any shortfall as EL income is less than 30% of CL income

Don't doubt that but I can't really see us dropping in the red when we have slimmed down our squad size and surely reduced the overall wage bill by a decent amount
