Its calculated by uefa on a projection. It will not be concrete or paid out till end of season.
And the accounts do not show this.
If they did, then we are showing a massive loss.

Ronny resigned, but we would of had to pay off his backroom staff since everyone except Kennedy was gone. Plus a few players got their contracts terminated.

I think you are wrong but would love if that was not the case - if you are right, that means that our income has increased by 30 million + over the same time as last year?

Celtic is well run but not THAT well run

I have checked today on previous articles that figure 100% does not include the Market pool or TV revenue, it is paid out after the final at the start of June. our turnover was estimated at £80m from the start of the season, its is £61m in those acocunts.

Well season tickets must be up around 10,000 say thats average £450.00 a skull thats £4.5m, we got £5m for that ICC cup, you had 3 sellouts in CL say £75.00 per package (allowing for concessions) 60k x 3 x £75£13.5m add ontop of that the CL playoff £3m in ticket sales and TV rev (as that is independant of CL groups) then corporate packages for all 4 matches (playoff and Groups) say another £2m then the new sponsorship with Dafabet and Magners say what another £5m a season and i am sure someone posted article on here saying we get a £1m bonus sponsorship for CL qualification

So there is yer extra £30m (actual £34m) but thats me speculating maybe some bean counters on here know better

SO in the Full 2015 - 2016 accounts group turnover was £52m, but we have CL in the 2016 -17 ontop of that circa £25m plus that ICC cup £5m so is it conceiveable we could burst £80m turnover this season?

YUP - sounds like a decent assumption. I can't recall if we had any pre-season income the year before but probably nowhere near as much as the ICC

    It'll be more than that.

We used to get £6millionish from TV and this is the first time we've been in it under the BT where the money went up a lot, it will be atleast £9million, especially since the £ is weaker.

The reason we don't get the Market Pool or dont know what it is until the end is cause UEFA still sell TV rights throughout the season, there will be a lot of countries in Africa or Asia or South America where they just buy the odd game or right to show the final etc so the money is never known until it's done - compared to Europe where TV companies bid for contracts and they have the rights for years so the money is know. Then they divide it all out, it usually doesnt change too much maybe only by £200k most per country.

Actually it will be around £12million not £9million.

Last season the English Clubs shared out €143million in Market Pool, the way UEFA work it is the UK count as the 1 Market Pool because its the same TV Channels that buy the rights. And Clubs share out whatever the % of population their country is to that country if only English teams qualify they get all the money, when we qulify we get 10%ish of that money as the population of Scotland is 10%ish of England. And given the money doesnt change much then you can be pretty sure that the total UK money will be around €140million again, so we will get bout €14million.

Whoever looked that up for STV probably looked at the Market Pool the last time we were in it which was under the last deal, its near doubled or technically has doubled cause the £ is worse off now as well as the rise in money.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but the increased turnover is mainly due to higher season ticket sales, cl participation fees and cl ticket sales?. The Tv money isn't included and won't be included until next accounts?
