Can't be arsed reading all the posts since last time I read this thread but anyone mentioned the mighty McCourt yet?

Seems to be half way to Legend status already with the fans despite only playing about 20 games.

First to spring to mind Di Canio. Sure he became a Legend at West Ham. Great player, and a charactor.

Donati!!! Your having a laugh, he couldn't pass the ball 3 yards, glad hes gone.

Others, Boruc (an even bigger legend) McGeady, McDonald.

I'd agree with you, apart from having age against him i still think he can be a legend.

And what if Scott McDonald was the 'mole' who was leaking stories about what was going on in the dressing room to the press? Who's the * then?!

You're bang out of order calling Tony Mowbray a *. I've said it before and I'll say it again for the younger ones, the ones who have no grasp of the real meaning of 'Celtic family' or the ones with short memories...........

Tony Mowbray is a good man who feels a deep affinity for our club. He left a good, highly paid job to come here and manage Celtic because he liked the club so much he simply couldn't say no. Ok, it didn't work out for him as manager of Celtic but it certainly was not for the lack of trying. Sometimes things just don't work out - that's life. It really * * me off the way some Celtic fans talk about Tony Mowbray, he loves our club and deserves a bit more respect than to be ridiculed or called 'a *'.

I wouldn't dare blame Mowbray for that without knowing the whole facts. Just remember it may not have been his decision

I never called Tony Mowbray an all round * as a person, I always said to my friends and family that he was a great man and it was a shame that it never turned out well when he came as a manager, however, when someone makes the wrong decision, I call them a * or something relevant for making that decision. There is no real sources that McDonald was the mole. Its all gossip going about, Scott McDonald got pushed out the door by Mowbray so they could appease the fans by bringing in Robbie Keane and believe it or not, fans including me bought into it despite being gutted about my favourite player leaving. As for ridiculed, not exactly, I was having a discussion with a few of the lads about Boruc showing the GBTP shirt and a fellow Celtic fan being a Catholic said "He's a bit of a * for doing that, he should of just kept his mouth shut because Celtic is a club open to every religion" so to be honest I stand by my decision on saying that he made a huge mistake that season.

Its annoying me how people wrongly judge the way I called him a *!? As I said, I have tons of respect for the guy and he is a great lad. I should of said it earlier but as soon as someone confronts me on which no-one else did but all of a sudden some of them are giving the guy who confronted me credit and support? Straws out.

Fair enough mate but I think you could express your disagreement with him selling Scott McDonald without calling him 'a *'. There's just no need to call a man who feels genuine affection and passion for our club and our fans 'a *'.

Personally I don't really have that much of a problem with the fact that Mowbray sold Scott McDonald. McDonald has done very little down at Middlesbrough and I think Hooper or Stokes could bag as many goals for us, in the SPL at least, as McDonald did.

I certainly don't think Scott McDonald would ever have elevated himself to the status of a Celtic Legend.

If he had stayed with Celtic for longer, he would be in for a shout

I really don't think he would. When you're talking about Celtic strikers who are Celtic legends then you are talking about people like McGrory, Nicholas, McAvennie, Dalglish, Larsson and Hartson. Scott McDonald wasn't, isn't and never will be in the same class as any of those players.
