Time for him yet. Mind he's still young. I have no doubt he'll be a full international in the future.

Norway still gun shy after playing Ajer in last match vs. Kosovo, that they lost 3-0 :86:

Gamboa starting vs USA tonight, kick off at 2355. Hopefully he performs better against Pulisic than he did that 16 yo Canadian kid in the Gold Cup. :fear:

Guess Jozo isn't among the top 4 defenders for Bosnia. Manager swapped out both center backs after Cyprus debacle, but he still is on the bench for today's game. Disappointed for him, especially since he hasn't had any game time in last two weeks. Likely to be rusty for PSG.

He definitely is amongst the top 4.

The gaffer was desperate to get him to switch allegiances, this is just his first call up with the squad so will be a case of settling him in.

Well, he had a chance to be put on today in a 4-0 away victory, but manager chose another central defender for his last sub instead. No idea of the level of these other guys, but he now has 4 guys to beat out just to get a cap. Doubt it will come in October against Belgium and Estonia, since Bosnia will be fighting for every point and goal to avoid finishing as the worst 2nd place team, or in November in the playoffs if they make them. Much ado for nothing for him this switch so far.

APART from the six Celtic players who were part of the Scotland side which convincingly swept aside Lithuania 3-0 in the crucial FIFA World Cup Qualifier in Vilnius on Friday night, Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa were also in action for Sweden and Costa Rica respectively.

Stuart Armstrong opened the scoring for Gordon Strachan’s side on Friday night in a game where Scotland dominated their Group F opponents to move up into third place. Armstrong had an excellent performance in the game and was accompanied in the starting XI by Celtic team-mate and Scotland captain, Scott Brown who controlled the midfield helped implement the kind of possession and pressing football which Celtic fans are accustomed to.

Despite not playing in his usual position on the left, Kieran Tierney showed his ability to adapt with a solid performance at right-back for Gordon Strachan. Leigh Griffiths, James Forrest and Craig Gordon completed the line up of Hoops stars who helped ensure that Scotland walked away with all three-points in a game which showed the international side playing at their best.

Mikael Lustig featured in both of Sweden’s World Cup qualifiers. He headed in an equaliser and set up Marcus Berg with cross in his side’s 3-2 defeat to Bulgaria on Thursday. Three days later he claimed an assist when Emil Forsberg scored in a 4-0 victory away to Belarus.

Elsewhere Cristian Gamboa helped his country claim a shock win as Costa Rica defeated USA 2-0 in New Jersey.

Scott Brown and his Scotland team-mates now look to maintain their World Cup qualifying hopes at Hampden tonight (Monday) when they face Malta, while Tom Rogic will attempt to help Australia overcome Thailand after the Aussies lost 2-0 to Japan on Thursday. And Jonny Hayes could feature for Republic of Ireland tomorrow night when they host Serbia in a group D World Cup qualifier.

Ralston played well against Netherlands. Showed good experience and composure in seeing the game out down at their corner flag as well, led to the Dutch boys resorting to hacking him in injury time.

First time the Dutch player hurt himself, second time he just laughed in the guys face. :84: * a tank for his age. :34:
