For consistency i cant see past Sinclair.
Broony has been great this year but his position
does not have the dynamism of those up front.

Dembele or KT for young player of the year, will be
tough on the one who misses out - any other year they
    would be a certainty.

Armstrong & Shooders both upped their game but for me
they have to do it next season as well.

Gordon has made big changes to his game, if he can keep
improving for next year then i think it will be a great thing for
him personally, done well to come back to the top after a terrible
    injury.

Dembele has had some fantastic individual performances on some
very big games.. hope that doesn't blot out Sinclair's solid performances
    in almost every game.

I'd say Armstrong's good form has come just a little bit late for him to get POTY.

In terms of consistency it's Sinclair for me, with Dembele for YPOTY.

Armstrong has been playing at a good level since November, and hasn't really dipped since then.

For me he's been the most consistent top performer since then. Dembele and Sinclair have both had dips in form.

And in most circumstances he would be a dead cert for POTY, but with Sinclair pretty much being on great form since his debut at Tynecastle, he edges it for me I'd say. :50:

The question is who has been the best player this season not who is most improved. The answer is Sinclair.

I went Armstrong because he has been the surprise package for most. I knew he had a good football brain but didn't expect the level of consistency and bossing of midfield as he has under Brendan. Such a turnaround from the Bhoy and I feel he has that European attack style to his game. He could walk into any midfield in Europe on his recent performances and I don't say that lightly. With Sinclair I knew exactly what we were getting and he hasn't let us down, it's what puts him above other squad members and I feel Armstrong now fills that bracket of player now as well. Two seasons ago we all thought the ball was burst and we would never see players of high calibre again. But roll out a world class manager and the players follow. Sinclair, Dembele, Armstrong, * me my mouth is watering.

Over the course of the entire season, I think Sinclair.

Others might have moments when they've been better, eg at the minute Armstrong is tearing it up; but over the course of the whole season, Sinclair has consistently been good.

Sinclair, his goals & assists, consistency and experience has been a huge part of our season.

Dembele not far behind, still inconsistent but when he's on form he is on another level. Scored some huge goals for us as well.

Armstrong for this 2nd half of the season has been outstanding, brought his game up another level and is now crucial player for us.
Brown in 1st half of the season was brilliant as well, reborn in that sitting mid role and was excellent in the champions league and big games. Putting himself back in the Scotland squad has restricted him in this 2nd half of the season, looking tired but still he has been a huge driving force for us this season.

Special mention to Gordon though, improved a lot this season especially his distribution, night and day compared to last night. Made some huge saves for us as well this season.

Out of interest, why is Griffiths in the poll but not Forrest?
