Brilliant - might have been nice to see POTY and PPOTY go to different people since the whole squad has been so good but you just can't argue with Sinclair taking both awards either.

This is how it feels to be Celtic..

SCOTT Sinclair is Celtic’s Player of the Year – and that’s a choice shared by supporters and players alike. The 28-year-old, who has been in impressive form throughout this first season with the Hoops, picked up two awards at the club’s annual event on Sunday night.

Sinclair picked up the Player of the Year award, sponsored by Dafabet, and voted for by the fans, while he was also named the Players’ Player of the Year, the award sponsored by Eden Mill.

There was also a double delight for Moussa Dembele, who was named Top Goalscorer of the Year (sponsored by Ladbrokes), while he also picked up the award for Goal of the Season (sponsored by Magners) for his strike in a 5-2 win against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park, his finish the culmination of a brilliant team move of 24 passes involving every player.

For the second year in a row, Kieran Tierney was named Young Player of the Year (sponsored by Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry and PWR Pack Ltd), while the Academy Player of the Year (sponsored by Nixon Consultancy) was Jack Aitchison.

Midfielder Kerry Montgomery was named Celtic Women’s Player of the Year (sponsored by Eden Mill), while John Clark accepted the Special Recognition Award (sponsored by Iona Pub Partnership) on behalf of his fellow Lisbon Lions in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their historic European triumph.

And there was also a special award to Celtic historian, Pat Woods, in recognition of his work over many years and devotion to recording and telling the Celtic story in a number of books.

The event, hosted by Des Clarke and Gerry McCulloch, also featured a special question & answer session with Brendan Rodgers, while the musical entertainment was provided Celtic fan, Stevie McCrorie.

And the night ended with the manager, his backroom staff and the players on stage as supporters gave a rousing rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone.

Right. But was it against Rangers in back to backs ? I don't ever recall that happening before.
