Spot on mate, the area around parkhead is having millions invested in it for the Commonwealth games. Thats why house prices in the area are creeping up.

Ive worked in the areas aound CP and ibrox and can without any doubt tell you that the tenemants and areas around ibrox (copland road, rose street etc) are the worst schemes ive seen in Glasgow. My van once got broken into over in govan when i had my back turned for literally 1 minute. Fastest junkies in the UK :31:

i agree with the comment about the band making ibrox seem buisier than what it is and am pure surprised that Celtic haven't got one
the fields of athen rhy getting played through hundreds of penny whistles would be great
as for the areas both are pretty bad and wouldn't advise anyonw ith an opposing teams colours on to take a stroll through them
match days at ibrox seem * but cp does have it's quiet moments it generally seems to be quite loud
celtic should be like the teams such as fernabache where no fans sit down through the full game
bring back the jungle or at least dedicate a section to standing up as i think the atmosphere would be amazing ....... going on my papa's words here

I used to live in the Ibrox area - it is dodgy as *. You couldn't live there without being constantly on your toes. Sure at Parkhead it isn't the prettiest of areas but it is far safer and friendlier than Ibrox.

1.Is the surrounding areas to ibrox any better that ours? No, but like other guys have said with the commonwealth games coming there is alot of good work being done. Should hopefully look good in a few years or so.
2.is there stadium really better than ours? I've been inside Ibrox and in the executive suites and to be honest it does look quite grand in alot of respects. Where as Celtic park as other have mentioned was built with any old *.
3.is there atmosphere any better than our's on match day?eg huns v st mirren. During Euro games and old firm I would say ours is alot better. I would say during non match games there's isn't much different from ours.
    4. old firm games,i know it changes from game to game but do they have better vocal support than our ? Id say we still have better vocal support then them and the extra 10,000 fans will probally have helped this. I used to have a season ticket though for many years in the Lisbon Lion stand and i would have to agree with one of the other lads in saying that the atmosphere for regular games is getting worse. There is far too many douche bags that probally should be sitting at home on there armchairs then at Celtic Park. Far too many times did me and guys i know get crap off old boys and fannies who would cry as soon as you stood up or moaned when you were trying to help generate an atmosphere.
