    The looks we received on Sunday wasn't disdain, more mild curiosity.

    Of course the introduction of seating is to blame for the demise of atmosphere, groups that would normally have stood together week in week out are now divided throughout the stadium.

    You can still get a good atmosphere in some games, even some league games have sporadic bursts of atmosphere where more people join in with the singing.

    If people don't like it being so quiet then do something about it - sing your hearts out even if you're the only one doing it :icon_mrgreen:

    Some of the lack of atmosphere however can be attributed to a change in supporters attitudes, there are more people that seem to enjoy the negativity and are looking for any excuse to get on the players back, coupled with a group of supporters that seem to think we have a * given right to win every game and therefore don't put the effort into spurring the team on.

    So it's not "by ra way, it's pure pish now, not likes when ah used to go back in the old day ahn it wis pure dead BRILLLIANT."

    Some (other) posters just like a good moan don't they?

    Hey, we've got a singing section. Shouldn't the club arrange some sort of Negative Section where all these depressants can sit and be together in their gloom?

    The Moaning Jessies Upper maybe? :shamrock:

    Let the people sing.
    Yeah thats * mate good analogy you feel like when you sing at some games and you are the only one in your section it's like you''ve done something wrong.

    The ones i hate are the guys that sit next to you and say "* no atmosphere today" and just sit in silence have to bite my tongue at moments like that the sheer ignorance of some people at CP these days is shocking. I remember when we stopped 9 in a row what a * atmosphere maybe too much success and upped prices are too blame.

    The same people must be two faced then when it comes to the rangers games and European nights ,the same people who say or sing nothing for all those games seem to come to life when the bigger games arrive .

    Mr Nice and myself where talking about this a while back and its a disgrace now that people are looking to get into the SINGING section ,cmon * is that about its shocking reading some of the posts about people getting frowned at by people who just want to sit there and not support there team ,there in presence but no voice to help the bhoys out and to create an atmosphere .

    no different than anfield, OT, camp nou or anywhere else, big games get big atmosphere, games against * teams that you play ever year get * atmosphere,
    even so, still to many of the working class lads have been priced out of it, and that is a reason.

    :56::56::50: good on ya.

    I think it is fair to say it is dying down, as sad as it may be, i honestly think banning sectarian songs has had an effect, i normaly found they started a sing song, also i think it something to do with complacency, i don't think born when the terraces where still there, or can't remember them anyway, so i don't know what it was like back then, but always thought the atmosphere was best the frist year we where in the cl, the juve potro roseburg year, it's was electric, and we where beating top class opposition back then, now, i think the novelty of the cl was woren thin with the Celtic faithful, before everyone got behing the team, now it seams to me that now thay have beat some of the europes big teams that it's now there given right to win ever home game both in league and europe, it's sad to see.
