To be honest it's not going to improve our squad one * bit this naming right * show . Maybe 10% might trickle down to the transfer tin but the rest will be for the shareholders.

If it’s going to make us decent coin why not, the name would literally be for SSN/MSM anyway. Cant think of any fans going “alright lad, you going to The Emirates Paradise the night”, fans will just call it what they’ve always called it. Naming rights are on the increase in football, stupid to turn down money.

 

Ive always said to my wife, if I win the Euro millions I’m gonna buy East Fife, pump them about £5-10m and rebuild the stadium, the only thing I’d want in return is the stadium to be called “The Bayview King Kong Big * Stadium of Power” just to watch the * on SSN doing goal announcements each week

Fine with me in principle. It will always be Celtic park to me so could care less about selling naming rights in principle. It would be a new revenue stream so go for it. Just not with any odious company.

 

If this happened I probably wouldn't go back. If we were ever bought over by an Arab royal family or dodgy Russian billionaire I definitely wouldn't be back. Celtic would then have lost everything it was meant to represent in my eyes. It's bad enough we have Tories on the board.

 

Was always against this idea as I like the tradition around the club. But these days I would be fine with it as whether we like it or not, football has changed and we need to change with it. Forward thinking is the order of the day.

Although Emirates I would have a problem with in principle, but I'm sure I could be persuaded with loadsa money cos I'm a materialistic * to my eternal shame.
