I will not stand for the * being said about a true Celtic legend. The odd fool may say something untrue and i can let it slide because they are misinformed but what you are doing is something else. Im not that sad that i would go through your post history but if i did a large percentage of them are either anti Lennon, belittling his achievements, or outright lies about him. I want you to explain yourself because you have been at this for a good while and it has to stop. And it is not a matter of opinion either you have a serious hard on for Lenny and i want answers

Career highlights: The Centenary double, 10 Men Winning The League, the 5-0 last-day victory against St Mirren to * the title in 1986.

Medals: Nine League titles, five Scottish Cups, two League Cups.

In his prime he was World-class and one of the best Right-Backs on the planet. A lot of * don't realise he had to deal with diabetes and injuries including a fractured skull, a broken leg and an ankle injury which kept him out of action for more than a year and still came out a winner. Club service, trophies won, ability, etc, all speak for themselves. A true Celtic legend.

Undoubted legend. My Dad absolutely loves him, raved about him.

Remember being about 11/12 years old and getting a few autographs outside Parkhead. I saw Danny McGrain carrying one of those bags of balls back from training, and me and a few other kids who must've been around the same age ran across. Wanted to get his autograph for my old man. Danny just grunted "you don't even know who I am" and shuffled off.

The lot of us just stood there, perplexed. I was gutted.

 

He wasn't in the Centenary season unfortunately would of being a perfect send off such an unreal team back though

Beyond me how people can say Lennon isn't a Celtic legend. He's done it all and a bit more.

 

Funny that, almost the exact same story except he said you can get it if you know who I am, I was about 9. Said Danny McGrain best defender to play for Celtic (my Da's words), he laughed and signed my wee book.

Some are getting mixed up with LEGEND and LEGENDARY events.

The players I mentioned before,plus thanks to you guys for adding,Brother Wilfrid,Danny and Wullie,are all in my opinion LEGENDS.

LEGENDARY EVENTS----Stokes falls into this category,for he is the only Celtic player in our history who punched out Elvis.
Lennon is also there for telling Ally "see the next time ah see you in Greggs,ah,m gonnae ram yer pie right up yer * *".

Harry Hood,the last Celtic player to bang 3 against the mob,and I was there.

George Connolly,one of the most gifted players I have ever witness,quiting at such a young age.

Artur giving the huns the business,and getting taking to * court for it,brilliant.

Bertie,during a European game and some * lay on the ground to waste time,wee Bertie grabbed the * by the ankles and pulled him off the pitch.
And so on.
