I don't, really. Just because his dad is an idiot and twins him with Edu at the DM spot doesn't mean he is a natural DM (despite him saying he likes the position). All the havoc he wreaked last season at Heerenveen (he had like a 15 game scoring streak or something ridiculous like that) was playing an attacking role not unlike Hartley at Hearts. He is bigger, stronger, faster and more technical than Hartley... and they have about the same superior work rate and tenacity required for the middle. If he could learn some positioning from Hartley, which is his biggest failing, then I would say he could become a very good player indeed.

Hartley isn't world class by any stretch of the imagination, and I'd even say that Bradley is probably a better overall player than him, but it just so happens that Bradley's only thing he needs to work on is what makes Hartley the player he is.

No proof yet, though, so I'm not going to get my hopes up. Anyways, Americans have a habit of being buddy-buddy with each other when they play each other in Europe, because it is so damned hard to make it outside of the US, for various reasons. So if you aren't ready to see Bradley being friendly with Edu and Beasely before and after games, don't get too excited.

Could be better in that role... I've admittedly only seen him as a DM, where I think he's sometimes brash and hot headed and I preferred Edus' tackling. But box-to-box or as an attacker, I've not seen.
Agreed on Hartley -- we do need a hard-tackling midfielder I think as Hartley is nearing his shelf-life. A player who can boss and control the middle of the field, and Bradley might be able to do that. But I'd also wonder if there's not others in the US who are perhaps cheaper?
Of course we haven't seen Crosas, but his own comments on coming from Barca (as a fluid passing attack system) I have my doubts on tackling.
